Humanidade dividida : a dicotomia hierarquizante do sexo

Abstract

Resumo: Esta pesquisa tem como foco a crítica da divisão de seres humanos em homens e mulheres a partir de um ideal naturalista do sexo, ou seja, a divisão da humanidade com base no sexo. Realizou-se uma investigação histórica, focada na genealogia do conceito de gênero, e um estudo conceitual focado na crítica do conceito biológico da natureza do sexo. Explicou-se como o binarismo sexual produz uma dicotomia hierarquizante que compromete as relações entre homens e mulheres. Ao fim, são evidenciadas novas perspectivas de vida que desafiam as normas regulatórias dicotômicas e indicam a insuficiência e limitação do ideal binário. Tendo em vista essas novas formas de pensar o ser humano, seu sexo e sua sexualidade, buscou-se romper com a ideia da espécie humana dividida em dois sexos correspondentes a dois gêneros. Dessa forma, essa pesquisa pretendeu desconstruir as estratificações biológicas e culturais dos conceitos de homem/mulher e feminino/masculino, em favor da impossibilidade de se fixar conceitos dicotômicos hierárquicos, tanto naturais como culturais, no que diz respeito ao sexo e à sexualidade. Abstract: This research focuses on the critique of the division of human beings into men and women from a naturalistic ideal of sex, namely the division of humankind based on sex. A historical investigation was conducted based on the genealogy of gender concept, and a conceptual study focused on the critique of the biological concept of the nature of sex. It is explained how sexual binarism produces a hierarchical dichotomy that compromises relationships between men and women. At last, it is evidenced new life perspectives that challenge dichotomous regulatory norms and indicate the insufficiency and limitation of the binary ideal. In view of these new ways of thinking the human being, his sex and his sexuality, this work seeks to challenge the idea of the humankind as being divided into two sexes corresponding to two genders. Thus, this research aimed to deconstruct the biological and cultural stratifications of the concepts of man/woman and female/male, in favor of the impossibility of establishing hierarchical dichotomous concepts, both natural and cultural, with regard to sex and sexuality.
