Formação em psicologia no Brasil : um estudo exploratório com currículos de psicologia na cidade de Curitiba

Abstract

Resumo: Este trabalho tem por objetivo realizar um estudo exploratório dos currículos dos cursos de Psicologia na capital do estado do Paraná, partindo de uma breve descrição e análise dos currículos de dois cursos de Psicologia da cidade de Curitiba. Inicialmente, optou-se por realizar um resgate histórico da formação em Psicologia no Brasil, partindo da sua constituição, nos primeiros Laboratórios de Psicologia, seguido das primeiras propostas de curso, do estabelecimento do Currículo Mínimo para os cursos de Psicologia, e posteriormente das Diretrizes Curriculares na atualidade. Na seqüência, é apresentado um breve relato das Teorias do Currículo, destacando o caráter ideológico que os currículos apresentam em sua estruturação. Antes de iniciarmos a análise dos currículos selecionados será apresentado um breve histórico da Psicologia no Estado do Paraná, como também dos cursos pesquisados. Os dois currículos selecionados serão descritos e analisados através da nomenclatura das disciplinas, estágios e atividades ofertadas, além da respectiva carga horária e da carga horária total do curso. Neste sentido, serão criadas categorias específicas para cada currículo, para uma maior organização e compreensão dos dados investigados. Os cursos apresentam especificidades decorrentes da própria estrutura e currículo, bem como dos perfis traçados para a formação. Muito embora, em linhas gerais, os achados da pesquisa apontem para a conformidade dos currículos com algumas das orientações previstas nas Diretrizes Curriculares, outras ainda não foram alcançadas por ambos os cursos, sugerindo a importância de serem revisadas por parte das universidades pesquisadas. Reconhece-se a necessidade de ampliação do espectro da pesquisa, com o intuito de construir um debate sobre a formação do psicólogo no Brasil.

Abstract: This study aims to conduct an exploratory study of the Psychology curricula in the capital of Parana State, starting from a brief description and analysis of the curricula of two Psychology courses in the city of Curitiba. For this purpose, the object of our analysis will be the Psychology Training in the State of Parana. At first, it was chosen to carry out a historical review of Psychology Training in Brazil, from its constitution in the first Psychology Laboratories, followed by the first course proposals, the establishment of the Minimum Curriculum for the Psychology Courses, and subsequently the Curricular Guidelines at the present time. In the sequence, it is presented a brief reporting of the Curriculum Theory, highlighting the ideological character that the curriculum has in its structure. Before starting the analysis of the selected curriculum, a brief History of the Psychology in the State of Parana will be presented, as well as a short History of the chosen courses. The two selected curricula will be described and analyzed using the subjects. nomenclature, internships and activities offered, in addition to their class load and the total class load of the course. Therefore, specific categories will be created for each curriculum, in order to accomplish a greater organization and comprehension of the data investigated. The courses evidence specificities due to their own structure and curriculum , as well as the profiles delineated to the Training. Although, broadly, the research findings aim to some conformity of both Curricula to some orientations set out in the Curriculum Guidelines, others have not been reached by both Courses yet, suggesting the importance of being reviewed by the universities investigated. We recognize the need to expand the spectrum of the research, in order to set up a debate about the Psychology Training in Brazil.
