Abstract : The freudian theory of the slips of the tongue phenomena considers them as the result of an interference between two desired utterances. Both of them have sense, that is, signification, intention, purpose and place in a continuous phsychological context. This way it includes these phenomena in the thinking processess of the individual who commits the slip, attributing validity and veracity not only to the intended assertion - which has been disturbed by the slip - but also to the interfering assertion - which, althought not intended by the individual, expresses itself in the slip - nevertheless the two assertions are paradoxical by presenting contradiction or contrariety. Treating these assertions as propositions, in the habitual logical sense of the term, one verifies the formal similarity between the slip of the tongue and the paradox derived from the inferences involving propositional attitudes, particularly with the puzzle presented by Saul Kripke related to the notion of belief. It is suggested that the paradox is dealt with the logic with possible worlds, like the one elaborated by Jakko Hintikka in relation to the notions of knowledge and belief.
