O trabalho docente no ensino privado em Curitiba : condições de trabalho, pandemia e ação sindical

Abstract

Resumo: O trabalho docente e a ação sindical no ensino básico privado são objetos ainda parcamente enfocados em pesquisas no campo da sociologia do trabalho. Nesse sentido, essa pesquisa se insere no conjunto de tentativas de delinear mais claramente os principais elementos desse contexto, articulando informações e dados de escala nacional ao enfoque da realidade de Curitiba e região. Desenvolvemos, nesta pesquisa, análises relacionadas às condições do trabalho docente no ensino básico privado em suas configurações e tendências perceptíveis nos últimos anos, discutindo aspectos do possível processo de precarização do trabalho entre docentes dessa esfera. Para além disso, a eclosão da pandemia da Covid-19 representou inflexões importantes nessas dinâmicas, no sentido de aprofundar mecanismos de intensificação do trabalho entre professores e professoras, tema também abordado pela pesquisa. Por fim, realizamos uma análise da ação sindical docente no ensino básico privado de Curitiba, enfocando as atividades do Sindicato dos Professores do Paraná (SINPROPAR), representação da categoria, e do Sindicato dos Estabelecimentos Particulares do Estado do Paraná (SINEPE), representação patronal da categoria. A pesquisa articulou informações obtidas a partir de um questionário aplicado a professores e professoras de Curitiba e região a dados oriundos do banco da Relação Anual de Informações Sociais (RAIS), vinculada ao Ministério da Economia, e a pesquisas quantitativas e qualitativas realizadas por outros pesquisadores

Abstract: Teaching work and union action in private basic education are objects that are still poorly focused on research in the field of sociology of work. In this sense, this research is part of the set of attempts to delineate more clearly the main elements of this context, articulating information and data on a national scale to focus on the reality of Curitiba and surroundings. In this research, we developed analysis related to the conditions of teaching work in private basic education in its settings and perceptible trends in recent years, discussing aspects of the possible process of work precariousness among teachers in this sphere. In addition, the outbreak of the Covid- 19 pandemic had great inflections in these dynamics, in the sense of deepening mechanisms of intensification of work among teachers and professors, a topic also addressed by this research. Finally, we carried out an analysis of the teaching union action in private elementary education in Curitiba, focusing on the activities of the Paraná Teachers Union (SINPROPAR), representing the category, and the Union of Private Establishments of the State of Paraná (SINEPE), employer representation of the category. The research articulated information gotten from a questionnaire applied to teachers in Curitiba and the surroundings with data from the Annual Social Information Report (RAIS), linked to the Ministry of Economy, and quantitative and qualitative research carried out by other researchers
