Registros e memórias das manifestações pioneiras de futebol de cegos no Brasil (1932-1980)

Abstract

Resumo: Tendo em vista o protagonismo da seleção brasileira de futebol de cegos em todas as edições dos Jogos Paralímpicos, a presente pesquisa teve como objetivo geral investigar e analisar como ocorreu a construção/desenvolvimento inicial do futebol de cegos no Brasil. Para tanto, estabeleceu-se cinco objetivos específicos, os quais foram pilares para o desenvolvimento dos cinco artigos da dissertação, que foi estruturada no modelo de organização multipapper. O primeiro estudo teve como objetivo traçar um panorama da produção científica em formato de artigos sobre futebol de cegos em seis bases diferentes de pesquisa. Observou que os estudos em formato de artigo sobre futebol de cegos encontram-se em expansão e necessitam de divulgação, sobretudo com mais pesquisas com abordagens relacionadas as ciências sociais. O segundo artigo, também de revisão, esteou-se em identificar o perfil de publicações em formato de dissertação e teses no Brasil. Os resultados indicaram que, quando relacionado especificamente com o futebol de cegos, existe a predominância de publicações referentes aos assuntos próximos as matrizes biológicas, o que indica uma lacuna sobre aos aspectos históricos da modalidade. O terceiro artigo da coletânea discutiu os primeiros registros da prática do futebol de cegos no Brasil, com ênfase no período entre 1932 e 1970. Foram utilizadas fontes impressas, as quais demonstraram versões sobre a prática do esporte, sendo motivada pelo desejo das pessoas com deficiência visual de jogar futebol. Assim foram adaptadas formas de jogar, sejam nos espaços para prática, bem como, o material para o jogo, como a bola. Os artigos seguintes, utilizaram majoritariamente das fontes orais. Para tanto foram entrevistados quatro jogadores da década de 1980, utilizando-se dos preceitos metodológicos da história oral. Dessa forma foi possível investigar a trajetória da modalidade com foco nas memórias dos jogadores e explicar o processo de internacionalização das regras. As entrevistas demonstraram diferentes contribuições dos jogadores. Suas trajetórias individuais acompanharam a evolução do futebol de cegos, passando de uma brincadeira na infância para uma prática esportiva na fase adulta. Como considerações finais, aponta-se que a trajetória do futebol de cegos no Brasil foi marcada por agentes que desejavam jogar futebol e trabalharam para isso. A utilização de fontes impressas e orais proporcionou novas perspectivas e registros sobre o tema. Infere-se que a presente pesquisa foi elaborada na tentativa de contribuir para um maior entendimento do potencial inclusivo e transformador do futebol de cegos, destacando a importância de futuras pesquisas relacionadas as matrizes socioculturais no contexto paradesportivo.

Abstract: Bearing in mind the leading role of the Brazilian blind soccer team in all editions of the Paralympic Games, the present research had the general objective of investigating and analyzing how the initial construction/development of blind soccer in Brazil took place. Therefore, five specific objectives were established, which were pillars for the development of the five articles of the dissertation, which was structured in the multipapper organization model. The first study aimed to outline an overview of the scientific production in the form of articles on football for the blind in six different research bases. He noted that studies in the form of articles on football for the blind are expanding and need to be disseminated, especially with more research with approaches related to the social sciences. The second article, also a review, was based on identifying the profile of publications in the form of dissertations and theses in Brazil. The results indicated that, when specifically related to soccer for the blind, there is a predominance of publications referring to subjects close to biological matrices, which indicates a gap on the historical aspects of the modality. The third article in the collection discussed the first records of the practice of soccer for the blind in Brazil, with emphasis on the period between 1932 and 1970. Printed sources were used, which demonstrated versions about the practice of the sport, being motivated by the desire of people with disabilities view of playing football. Thus, ways of playing were adapted, whether in spaces for practice, as well as the material for the game, such as the ball. The following articles mostly used oral sources. For that, four players from the 1980s were interviewed, using the methodological precepts of oral history. In this way, it was possible to investigate the trajectory of the sport focusing on the players' memories and explain the process of internationalization of the rules. The interviews showed different contributions from the players. Their individual trajectories followed the evolution of football for the blind, going from a game in childhood to a sport in adulthood. As final considerations, it is pointed out that the trajectory of football for the blind in Brazil was marked by agents who wanted to play football and worked for it. The use of printed and oral sources provided new perspectives and records on the subject. It is inferred that the present research was elaborated in an attempt to contribute to a greater understanding of the inclusive and transformative potential of football for the blind, highlighting the importance of future research related to sociocultural matrices in the para-sports context.
