Turismo literário, características da oferta e produção acadêmica

Abstract

Resumo: O Turismo é um fenômeno cada vez mais comum e abrangente na atualidade, as formas de se fazer turismo estão em constante mudança, acompanhando a movimentação das sociedades em permanente transformação. Assim surge o Turismo Literário que pode ser considerado um reflexo da modernidade, apesar de existirem relatos nas sociedades antigas de viagens com essas características. Esse tema de investigação explora a relação do Turismo e Literatura, conceitos que inter-relacionam as duas áreas. Sendo que a oferta turística se relaciona a literatura através dos autores, obras, personagens e cenários participantes do contexto literário. Desta forma, a oferta do Turismo literário está em constante construção, novos destinos podem surgir juntamente com novos autores e seus livros. Deste modo o objetivo principal é a compreensão do Turismo literário através da produção acadêmica, e quais as características da oferta com base na exploração do que já vem sendo publicado nacional e internacionalmente. Para tanto, em termos metodológicos, optou-se por uma pesquisa qualitativa, com levantamento bibliométrico e documental. As principais conclusões apontam que pouco se discute e se pesquisa sobre Turismo literário no Brasil, sendo que internacionalmente, principalmente na Europa, há uma corrente de pesquisadores que vem construindo conceitos e discutindo possibilidades de itinerários literários. O estudo ainda sugere que o autor é o foco principal citado na produção acadêmica, seguido pela obra literária, e aponta que o Turismo literário impulsiona a visitação dos atrativos locais, contribui em manter a memória literária, e favorece a preservação de monumentos culturais relacionados a literatura, solidifica o nome de autores e mantém viva a memória para as próximas gerações. Conhecendo os vários tipos de oferta e o que é produzido sobre turismo literário é possível identificar a necessidade de ampliar a discussão sobre Turismo literário no Brasil.

Abstract: Tourism is an increasingly common and common phenomenon today, as ways of doing tourism are in constant change, following the movement of societies in permanent transformation. This is how Literary Tourism arises, which can be considered a reflection of modernity, although there are reports of travel with these characteristics in ancient societies. This research theme explores the relationship between Tourism and Literature, concepts that interrelate the two areas. Since the tourist offer is related to literature through the authors, works, characters and scenarios participating in the literary context. In this way, a literary tourism offer is under constant construction, new destinations can emerge along with new authors and their books. Thus, the main objective is the understanding of literary tourism through academic production, and what are the characteristics of the offer based on the exploration of what has already been published nationally and internationally. Therefore, in methodological terms, we opted for a qualitative research, with bibliometric and documentary survey. The main descendants point out that little is discussed and researched about literary tourism in Brazil, and internationally, especially in Europe, there is a stream of researchers who have been building concepts and discussing possibilities for literary itineraries. The study still pending that the author is the main focus cited in academic production, followed by literary work, and points out that Literary Tourism boosts visits to local attractions, contributes to maintaining literary memory, and favors the preservation of cultural monuments related to literature, solidifies the names of authors and keeps the memory alive for generations to come. Knowing the various types of offer and what is produced about literary tourism, it is possible to identify the need to broaden the discussion on literary tourism in Brazil.
