Feira cultural e do afroempreendedorismo : uma etnografia das relações entre economia feminina e resistência negra em Curitiba

Abstract

Resumo: A Feira Cultural e do Afroempreendedorismo acontece mensalmente em Curitiba desde 2017 e vêm ocupando espaço no cenário de eventos cuja finalidade é de fomentar a cultura afro-brasileira e africana em uma cidade que invisibiliza a população negra. A proposta desta dissertação é de compreender a luta e importância deste evento que é organizado e ocupado por mulheres negras. Essas, que são militantes e atuantes na resistência local desde os anos oitenta, trabalham bravamente para abrir caminhos para outras mulheres de todas as gerações. Com apoio do Instituto Afro-Brasil do Paraná e ocupando a Praça Zumbi dos Palmares, localizada no bairro Pinherinho, o evento contribui para o fortalecimento do movimento black money através do ato de empreender e da construção da identidade política negra através das apresentações culturais. Neste trabalho, trago narrativas e vivências dessas mulheres que têm reescrito a história negra da cidade, lutando contra as burocracias estatais que fortalecem o racismo estrutural e institucional, construindo, assim, uma utopia quilombista que projeta um novo cenário de existência para esse coletivo.

Abstract: The Cultural and Afro-entrepreneurship Fair has taken place monthly in Curitiba since 2017. It has been occupying space in the scenario of events whose purpose is to promote Afro-Brazilian and African culture in a city that makes the black population invisible. This dissertation aims to understand the struggle and importance of this event, which was organized and occupied by black women. These have been militants and active in the local resistance since the 1980s and bravely open paths for other women of all generations. With support from Instituto Afro-Brasil do Paraná and occupying Praça Zumbi dos Palmares, located in the Pinherinho neighborhood, the event contributes to strengthening the black money movement through entrepreneurship and the construction of black political identity through cultural presentations. In this work, I bring narratives and experiences of these women who have rewritten the city's black history, fighting against state bureaucracies that strengthen structural and institutional racism, thus building a quilombo utopia that projects a new scenario of existence for this collective.
