The opening chapters focus on the analysis of his major work, the Structure of Scientific Revolutions and texts that have been written in a period close to this work and that reinforce the ideas of his main work. In these chapters, we seek to highlight the cognitive mechanisms presupposed in Kuhn's philosophy and how much they challenge, through internalist demands, the traditional distinction in the philosophy of science between observational terms and theoretical terms. In the Kuhnian version, the theoretical dimension ends up problematizing the supposed, and until then accepted, independence and / or prominence of the observational level over the theoretical level, functioning as a kind of ultimate court of appeals. Kuhn's philosophy prevents the empirical evidence from being accepted so easily without considering the theoretical and conceptual framework that also shapes it as a fundamental element for its constitution. In this itinerary, the referred problematization is evidenced based on the notions of production of almost intuitive cognitive capacities and by the analogical reasoning, developed by the important interpreter of Thomas Kuhn's work, Alexander Bird. All of this is taken as a basis for our main question, which is the problem of changing the meaning of scientific theories terms, in the Fregean sense, composed of sinn (meaning; descriptive or conceptual content; intensionality) and bedeutung (reference; extensionality) : in view of the possibility of a radical change in the meaning of the terms of a theory, does the reference also modify or modify only the meanings of these terms? In the final two chapters, we seek to point out the transition from Kuhnian concepts in their later texts, when the problem of incommensurability is discussed around the philosophy of language. In these chapters, Kuhn's clash with the causal theories of direct reference is highlighted. In addition, we make use of some ideas from Jouni-Matti Kuukkanen, mainly the distinction he established between reference and extension. Key-words: Thomas Kuhn. Analogical reasoning. Sense and reference. Projectability. Natural kind terms.
