A linha turística ferroviária Curitiba-Litoral e a sua importância para o turismo do Município de Morretes-PR

Abstract

Resumo: Os sistemas de transporte foram muito importantes para o desenvolvimento das viagens turísticas. O trem a partir do século XIX foi o sistema de transporte que possibilitou o deslocamento de grande quantidade de pessoas a negócios e a lazer. O Brasil foi um dos primeiros países no mundo a instalarem estradas de ferro, entretanto, os trens perderam importância para o transporte de indivíduos e se especializam no transporte de cargas. Atualmente apenas algumas linhas mantêm trechos destinados ao transporte de pessoas, sendo que a maioria das ofertas de viagens são específicas de turismo. Uma dessas linhas é a Curitiba-Morretes. Esta pesquisa pretendeu analisar a importância das viagens do trem turístico para o turismo do município de Morretes, PR. Também pretendeu investigar as relações entre o trem e as atividades turísticas que existem em Morretes e que mais estimulam a atração de visitantes. A pesquisa se apresenta relevante na medida em que oferece dados e informações a respeito da importância da estrada de ferro como um fomentador de atividades turísticas e fortalecimento da economia, bem como, a oferta de lazer, diletantismo e informações históricas aos viajantes. Abstract: Transport systems were very important for the development of tourist trips. The train from the 19th century was the transport system that made it possible for large numbers of people to travel for business and leisure. Brazil was one of the first countries in the world to install railroads, however, trains have lost importance for the transport of individuals and specialize in the transport of cargo. Currently, only a few lines maintain sections for the transportation of people, and most of the travel offers are specific to tourism. One of these lines is Curitiba-Morretes. This research aimed to analyze the importance of tourist train travel for tourism in the municipality of Morretes, PR. He also intended to investigate the relationship between the train and the tourist activities that exist in Morretes and that most stimulate the attraction of visitors. The research is important in that it offers data and information about the importance of the railway as a promoter of tourist activities and strengthening of the economy, as well as the offer of leisure, leisure and historical information to travelers.
