Feminismo em rede no século XXI : articulações da Marcha Mundial das Mulheres no Brasil

Abstract

Resumo: O objetivo desta pesquisa é investigar as conexões da Marcha Mundial das Mulheres (MMM) com associações civis no Brasil, e compreender a função que este movimento tem na composição do movimento feminista brasileiro. Partimos de dois pressupostos a respeito dos movimentos sociais, e mais especificamente dos movimentos feministas. O primeiro é de que há uma relação de codeterminação entre Estado e Sociedade Civil, pois ações governamentais influem nas ações movimentalistas e vice-versa, nesse sentido as ações do Estado não são autônomas, mas representam um continuum das relações sociais entre pares. O segundo pressuposto é que as formações de redes de movimentos sociais contestatórios e contra-hegemônicos a nível global favorece ou radicaliza a democracia, pois reivindicações por políticas de igualdade e justiça se estendem do local para o internacional. Nossa hipótese é que a MMM Brasil cumpre uma função articuladora, no interior de uma rede de conexões de projetos políticos a nível global, prevista em seu projeto político, e se encaixa nos dois pressupostos apresentados. Para testar nossa hipótese realizamos duas etapas de pesquisa, a primeira de caráter exploratório, utilizando teorias e análises históricas e conjunturais para investigar nosso problema; e uma segunda etapa empírica, voltada às fontes secundárias, às vozes da MMM Brasil e utilização do método de análise de redes sociais com a finalidade de identificar uma rede básica de relações desse movimento. Identificamos as organizações que compõe uma estrutura de relações com a MMM no Brasil e categorizamos essas relações. A partir dos dados qualitativos e dos gráficos gerados pelo software Gelphi, concluímos que a MMM articula associações civis plurais, a partir de um mínimo determinador comum expresso nas categorias de classe, gênero e raça. Essa articulação gera uma troca entre o local e o global, empoderando as entidades conectadas das teses feministas. Portanto, a MMM representa um marco na história do feminismo no Brasil, pois o coloca em rede global e interseccionada, num modelo de associativismo crítico ao capitalismo, mas que abrange interesses, opiniões e perspectivas plurais. Abstract: The aim of this research is to investigate the connections of the World March of Women (WMW) with civil associations in Brazil, and to understand the function of this movement in the composition of the Brazilian feminist movement. The starting point is two assumptions about social movements, and more specifically feminist movements. The first is that there is a relationship of codetermination between State and Civil Society, because actions of the government influence the movements and vice versa. In this sense, the actions of the State are not autonomous, but represent a continuum of social relations between peers. The second assumption is that the formation of networks of contestatory and counterhegemonic social movements at a global level favors or radicalizes democracy, since claims for policies of equality and justice extend from the local to the international. Our hypothesis is that WMW Brazil fulfills an articulating function within a network of connections of political projects at a global level, foreseen in its political project, and fits in both assumptions presented. To test our hypothesis we performed two research steps, the first one was exploratory, using theories and conjunctural and historical analyzes to investigate our problem; and a second empirical step, directed to secondary sources, to the voices of WMW Brazil and using the method of analysis of social networks with the purpose of identifying a basic network of relations of this movement. We identified the organizations that make up a structure of relations with the WMW in Brazil and categorized these relationships. From the qualitative data and graphs generated by the software Gelphi, we conclude that the WMW articulates plural civil associations, based on a common minimum determinant expressed in the categories of class, gender and race. This articulation generates an exchange between the local and the global, empowering the connected entities of the feminist theses. Therefore, the WMW represents a milestone in the history of feminism in Brazil, as it places it in a global and intersected network, in a model of associationism critical of capitalism, but which embraces plural interests, opinions and perspectives.
