Nossos guerreiros continuarão : etnografia sobre os Nhandewa de Ywy Porã (Abatiá-PR)

Abstract

Resumo: Esta pesquisa se constitui numa etnografia junto aos Guarani Nhandewa da TI Ywy Porã/Posto Velho (localizada no município de Abatiá-PR). Desde 2005, o grupo vive numa diminuta área, fruto da retomada de parte de um território tradicional. Durante os treze anos que vivem no local, as prioridades do grupo têm sido a demarcação da terra, o resgate cultural, a formação política de seus jovens e a ampliação do parentesco. Para abordar estes aspectos foram priorizadas as ações desenvolvidas pelas chefias políticas do grupo (cacique, vice e lideranças). Tomando estas categorias como base, são analisados aspectos referentes a organização política da TI e a inserção dos jovens nesse âmbito, bem como as relações junto à instâncias jurídicas e administrativas do Estado e suas implicações internas. São também analisadas as articulações interaldeãs realizadas num contexto mais amplo, junto às outras duas TIs também localizadas na Bacia do Rio das Cinzas e com os Kaingang da bacia do Tibagi, o que inclui a ampliação das redes de parentesco e alianças políticas através de casamentos interétnicos e mobilizações regionais. Abstract: This research constitutes an ethnography with the Guarani Nhandewa of TI Ywy Porã / Posto Velho (located in the municipality of Abatiá-PR). Since 2005, the group lives in a tiny area, the result of the resumption of part of a traditional territory. During the thirteen years that they have lived there, the group's priorities have been the demarcation of the land, the cultural rescue, and the political formation of its young people and the expansion of kinship. To address these aspects, the actions developed by the political leaders of the group (chief, vice and leaders) were prioritized. Taking these categories as a base, are analyzed aspects regarding the political organization of IT and the insertion of young people in this field, as well as relations with the legal and administrative authorities of the State and their internal implications. Are also analyzed, interaldean joints performed in a broader context together with the other two TIs also located in the Rio das Cinzas Basin and with the Kaingang of the Tibagi basin, which includes the extension of kinship networks and political alliances through interethnic marriages and regional mobilizations.
