Pobreza e plebe em Hegel

Abstract

Resumo: A tese reconstitui e problematiza o tratamento dispensado por Hegel ao tema da pobreza e da plebe em sua Filosofia do Direito. É oferecido um tratamento do problema ao longo de outros escritos de Hegel a respeito da mesma questão. Tematiza-se então as respostas de comentadores clássicos e contemporâneos a respeito do problema. Por fim, esboça-se uma resposta própria à questão e disso decorre uma tentativa de relacionar Hegel a alguns pensadores contemporâneos. Palavras-chave: Hegel; pobreza; plebe; filosofia do direito.

Abstract: The thesis reconstitutes and problematizes Hegel's treatment of the subject of poverty and of the rabble in his Philosophy of Right. A treatment of the problem is offered throughout Hegel's other writings on the same issue. The answers of classical and contemporary commentators on the problem are then worked on. Finally, a proper answer to the question is sketched and an attempt is made to relate Hegel to some contemporary thinkers. Keywords: Hegel; poverty; rabble; philosophy of right.
