A Escrita fílmica da história no documentário O triunfo da vontade

Abstract

Resumo: O presente trabalho busca estudar possíveis caminhos metodológicos para o entendimento do discurso fílmico e da escrita fílmica da história. A pesquisa utiliza dos estudos da semiótica e do cinema, para que seja possível compreender como um filme comunica seu discurso. Para cumprir sua finalidade, o trabalho toma como objeto o documentário O Triunfo da Vontade (Triumph des Willens, 1936, 1 DVD (124 min), 35 mm, p&b), de Leni Riefenstahl. Sendo o filme um produto cultural, ele apresenta aspectos dos conflitos e singularidades existentes na sociedade que o produziu. Portanto, ao investigar o discurso fílmico em O Triunfo da Vontade, o trabalho também se propõe a estudar os fatores históricos e político-sociais da sociedade alemã que possibilitaram a ascensão dos nazistas e sua permanência no poder. Abstract: This study aims to study possible methodological approaches to understanding the film discourse of history and its filmic writing. The research uses the study of semiotics and films, to understand how a film communicates its speech. To fulfill its purpose, the work takes as its object the documentary Triumph of the Will (Triumph of the Will, 1936, 1 DVD (124 min), 35 mm, p&b) of Leni Riefenstahl. As the film a cultural product, it presents aspects of the conflicts and singularities existing in the society that produced it. Therefore, in investigating the filmic discourse in The Triumph of the Will, the work also proposes to study the historical and sociopolitical factors of German society that made possible the rise of the Nazis and their permanence in power.
