Entre paixões e virtudes : a lírica amorosa dos goliardos presente no Carmina Burana : séculos XII-XIII

Abstract

Resumo: A presente dissertação tem por objetivo propor a exploração da lírica amorosa goliárdica, presentes no cancioneiro conhecido como Carmina Burana e datado do século XIII, que contém as canções compostas pelo grupo de estudantes vagantes que ficou conhecido como Goliardos na cristandade latina medieval. A partir das canções amorosas pretendemos explorar a representação da sociedade e das experiências de vida dos Goliardos, bem como explorar as intertextualidades com diversas formas líricas presentes nessas sociedades. A partir da perspectiva da história cultural e da metodologia proposta por Paul Zumthor e Luiz Antonio de Villena, que concerne na busca pela oralidade e pela experiência dentro da poesia medieval. Nosso objetivo foi compreender a forma como os Goliardos representavam em suas canções as relações e experiências que viviam e de que forma as transmitiam pela via de uma lírica única e específica bem como seu lugar dentro de uma lírica amorosa medieval vasta e heterogênea. Mais precisamente, buscou-se entender a forma como os Goliardos representavam as mulheres, partindo de um recorte documental de canções que possuem voz ativa feminina, e de que maneiras essa representação se aproxima ou se afasta das visões acerca das mulheres presentes em outras líricas amorosas e também das visões propagadas pela Igreja, enquanto instituição que propunha uma regulação dos comportamentos. Concluiu-se que a lírica goliárdica apresenta outra visão sobre as mulheres que difere daquela perpetrada pelos textos oficiais e manuais de comportamento medievais, representando em suas canções diversas figuras femininas que mostram a heterogeneidade das vivências das pessoas nas cidades medievais, figuras estas que, costuradas às experiências dos poetas expressas em suas canções, nos permitem um vislumbre das dinâmicas dessa sociedade. Abstract: The present dissertation aims to propose the exploration of the goliardic love-lyric, present in the songbook known as Carmina Burana and dating from the thirteenth century, which contains the songs composed by the group of vagrant students that became known as Goliards in medieval Latin Christendom. From the love songs we intend to explore the representation of the society and the life experiences of the Goliards, as well as to explore the intertextualities with various lyrical forms present in these societies. From the perspective of the cultural history and methodology proposed by Paul Zumthor and Luiz Antonio de Villena, which concerns the search for orality and experience within medieval poetry. Our goal was to understand how the Goliards represented in their songs the relationships and experiences they lived and how they transmitted them via a unique and specific lyric as well as its place within a vast and heterogeneous medieval love lyrical. More precisely, the aim was to understand how the Goliards represented women, starting with a documentary cut of songs that have an active female voice, and in what ways this representation approaches or departs from visions about women present in other amorous lyrics and also of the visions propagated by the Church, as an institution that proposed a regulation of the behaviors. It was concluded that goliardic lyric presents another vision on the women that differs from that perpetrated by the official texts and medieval manuals of behavior, representing in their songs several feminine figures that show the heterogeneity of the experiences of the people in the medieval cities, figures that, sewn to the experiences of the poets expressed in their songs, allow us a glimpse of the dynamics of that society.
