Solução das equações de campo de strings cósmicos acopladas às equações de Einstein

Abstract

Resumo: Mostramos neste trabalho que as equações de campo de strings cósmicos, acopladas às equações de Einstein, possuem soluções numéricas as quais são válidas nas proximidades do string. Discutimos as propriedades das soluções encontradas e mostramos que para -* ^ ° espaço-tempo, em presença do string, aproxima-se do espaço-tempo de Minkowski, a menos de uma cunha. Obtivemos, finalmente, uma expressão para o desvio angular da luz pelo string.

Abstract: We point out in this work that the field equations for cosmics strings, coupled to Einstein's equations, have numerical solutions and that they have validity near of the string. We discuss some properties of these solutions and in the limit f*-> <x> , the spacetime in presence of strings approaches Minkowski spacetime minus a wedge. Finally, we derive an expression for the angular deflection of the light by the string.
