A natureza na cidade : uma abordagem a partir da percepção da população acerca do Jardim Botânico de Curitiba - PR

Abstract

Resumo: Torna-se cada vez mais difícil, nos dias atuais, dissociar cidade e natureza, pois o processo de urbanizaçao influencia e é influenciado pelo entorno de sua área de ocupaçao, constituindo meios integrados os quais nao se deveria aplicar nenhuma desvinculaçao ao se elaborar estudos de problemáticas socioambientais urbanas. Faz-se necessário, entretanto, considerável cautela para que nao se reduza a análise somente ao fato urbano, ou ao antropizado, pois este é formado sobre uma base natural precedente, que o altera e sobre ele se adapta, mas nao o substitui. Cada meio tem sua própria dinâmica e as influencias que um exerce no outro sao diversas e de variadas naturezas. A partir da preocupaçao em analisar as relaçoes estabelecidas entre a sociedade e natureza questiona-se: ‘O que é "Natureza"?’ Muito provavelmente surjam, a partir dessa indagaçao, várias respostas, relacionadas com o objeto de estudo ou ainda com a problemática de enfoque. Quando da análise para tentar responder a esta questao tem-se que levar em conta que o sentido de Natureza é extremamente amplo e possui diversas definiçoes. Com isso surge a problemática em definir a quot;Natureza" como tal, num momento em que se fala amplamente em "defender o meio ambiente" das agressoes humanas, ou seja, das agressoes da própria sociedade. A abordagem geográfica da concepçao de "natureza" na cidade se coloca como objetivo principal deste trabalho, que se baseou na percepçao para realizar suas verificaçoes. Neste contexto se insere o Jardim Botânico de Curitiba, que se reflete como "Natureza" na Cidade, vista de diversas formas por um grupo de pessoas de Curitiba.

Abstract: Each more difficult time becomes, nowadays, to dissociate city and nature, therefore the urbanization process influences and is influenced by entorno of its area of occupation, constituting half integrated which if would not have to apply no link to if elaborating studies of problematic socio environmental urbans. Considerable caution becomes necessary, however, so that not if it only reduces the analysis to the urban fact, or to the humanizing one, therefore this is formed on a preceding natural base, that modifies it and on it if adapt, but does not substitute it. Each way has its proper dynamics and the influences that one exerts in the other diverse and of are varied natures. From the concern in analyzing the relations established between the society and nature it is questioned: ' What it is "Nature"? ' Very probably they appear, to leave of this investigation, some answers, related with the object of study or still with the problematic one of approach. When of the analysis to try to answer to this question it is had that to lead in account that the direction of Nature is extremely ample and possesss diverse definitions. With this the problematic one in defining the "Nature" appears as such, at a moment where if it speaks widely in "defending the environment" of the aggressions human beings, or either, of the aggressions of the proper society. The geographic boarding of the conception of "nature" in the city if places as objective main of this work, that if based on the perception to carry through its verifications. In this context if it inserts the Botanical Garden of Curitiba, that if it reflects as "Nature" in the City, seen of diverse forms for a group of people of Curitiba.
