Viabilidade econômica da produçao de alface, em quatro sistemas tecnológicos : campo coberto, túnel baixo, estufa e hidropônico

Abstract

Resumo: O presente trabalho consistiu em analisar a viabilidade econômica da produção de alface crespa variedade "Verônica" em quatro sistemas tecnológicos: campo aberto, túnel baixo, estufa no solo e hidroponia, utilizando os critérios do valor presente líquido (VPL) e taxa interna de retorno (TIR). Os dados de custo de produção de cada sistema tecnológico foram levantados entre abril de 2001 e março de 2002 em quatro propriedades rurais, três localizadas no Município de Dois Vizinhos, e uma no Município de Colombo, ambas no Estado do Paraná. Os fatores que influenciaram os custos de produção foram o tamanho das estruturas de produção, perdas ao longo do ano, diferença de ciclo, quantidade de insumos, mão-de-obra utilizada e valor comercial recebido por cabeça de alface. A análise de viabilidade econômica mostrou que os quatro sistemas tecnológicos são economicamente viáveis. Sistema a campo aberto apresentou um VPL de R$ 67.018,79 e TIR 24, 76%; o sistema de túnel baixo apresentou um de VPL de R$ 77.243,46 e TIR 26,28; o sistema de estufa no solo apresentou um VPL de R$ 70.744,90 e TIR 25,23% e, finalmente, o sistema de hidroponia apresentou um VPL R$ 187.534,45 e TIR 34,26%

Abstract: The present work consisted in analyzing the economic feasibility study of the production of the crisp lettuce from the "Veronica" variety, in four technologic systems: open field, low tunnel, greenhouse on the soil and hydroponics, utilizing the criteria of the VPL (Present Liquid Value) and the TIR (Return Internal Tax). The production cost data of each technologic system were raised between April 2001 and March 2002 in four rural properties, three of them located in the city of Dois Vizinhos, and one in the city of Colombo, both in the state of Paraná. The factors that influenced (were influential in) the costs of production were the size of the structures of production, losses through the year, cyclic difference, quantities of sowing related products, work force used for it and commercial value received for each lettuce head. The analysis of this economic feasibility study demonstrated that the four technologic systems are economically feasible. The Open Field system presented a VPL os R$ 67.018,79 and TIR 24,76%; the Low Tunnel system presented a VPL of R$ 77.243,46 and TIR 26,28%; the Greenhouse on the Soil System presented a VPL of R$ 70.744,90 and TIR 25,23% and finally, the Hydroponics system presented a VPL of R$ 187.534,45 and TIR 34,26%
