Para além do paraíso : uma reinterpretação sociológica do discurso ambiental sobre as identidades de grupos tradicionais e de suas práxis religiosas populares na Ilha do Mel

Abstract

Resumo: Esta tese tem por objetivo compreender de que forma o impacto do discurso e das práticas ambientais institucionais sobre os grupos tradicionais na Ilha do Mel, contribui para sobrepor à práxis das religiosidades populares em suas manifestações, crenças e no modo de vida moderno das diferentes identidades no campo religioso, como um dos espaços de resistência, mobilização e possível mudança da realidade social. Tal entendimento das representações e ações dos atores nas mudanças trazidas pela modernidade às tensões criadas no campo religioso, entre outros elementos, configura-se numa trama de forças diversas e contraditórias em um processo de construção sociocultural, no intuito de entender como as instituições religiosas, os indivíduos e o próprio campo são tencionados por lógicas diversas que tem significado na sua própria realidade. A pesquisa qualitativa voltou-se à discussão temática do discurso ambiental com o saber teológico, com a finalidade de priorizar questões epistemológicas contemporâneas na relação entre saberes instituídos e novos saberes (em construção) de fronteira latino-americana, voltados às crenças religiosas. Entrevistas estruturadas e semiestruturadas foram aplicadas aos sujeitos, resultando análise sobre o sentido religioso e as práxis religiosas dos atores.

Abstract: This thesis aims to understand how the impact of discourse and institutional environmental practices on traditional groups in Ilha do Mel, contributes to override the praxis of popular religiosity in its manifestations, beliefs and modern way of life of different identities in the religious field, as one of the spaces of resistance, mobilization and possible change of social reality. This understanding of the representations and actions of the actors in the changes brought by modernity to the tensions created in the religious field, among other things, appears in a web of diverse and contradictory forces in a process of social and cultural construction, in order to understand how the religious institutions, individuals and the field itself are tensioned by different logics that have meaning in their own reality. Qualitative research turned the thematic discussion of environmental speech with theological knowledge in order to prioritize contemporary epistemological issues in the relationship between established knowledge and new knowledge (in construction) of Latin American mark, turned to religious beliefs. Structured and semi-structured interviews were applied to the subjects resulting in analysis on the religious meaning and religious praxis of actors.
