Subsídios para implementação da diretriz clínica de úlceras por pressão

Abstract

Resumo: Trata-se de uma pesquisa intervencionista de abordagem qualitativa, com objetivo geral de subsidiar a implementação da Diretriz Clínica de Prevenção e Tratamento de Úlceras por Pressão (UP) em um Hospital de Ensino e como objetivos específicos: levantar as ações realizadas em um hospital de ensino acerca da prevenção e tratamento da UP; reformular e avaliar a Diretriz Clínica de Prevenção e Tratamento de UP; desenvolver e avaliar um processo educativo semipresencial sobre UP. A pesquisa foi dividida em três etapas. Na primeira realizou-se o levantamento das ações de prevenção e tratamento do agravo no hospital, por meio de entrevistas com enfermeiros. A segunda ocorreu com a reformulação e avaliação da Diretriz Clínica de Prevenção e Tratamento de UP por enfermeiros da instituição e especialistas no assunto. A terceira etapa correspondeu a um processo educativo semipresencial sobre UP. Verificou-se que a medida mais utilizada para prevenção de UP na instituição é a mudança de decúbito. A maioria dos profissionais entrevistados desconhece a existência de um protocolo para prevenção desse agravo. A diretriz clínica foi reformulada e avaliada com sucesso porém, necessita de atualizações e mais respaldo de evidências científicas na questão do tratamento das UP. O curso semipresencial teve 83 inscritos sendo que 44 (53,01%) o concluíram e receberam certificado. As ações realizadas subsidiam a implementação da Diretriz Clínica de Prevenção e Tratamento de UP na instituição pelos profissionais que nela atuam.

Abstract: This work consists in an interventionist research of qualitative approach, generally aiming to subsidize the implementation of the Preventing and Treating Clinical Guideline for Pressure Ulcers (PU) in a Teaching Hospital, and specifically aiming to: gather the actions taken in a teaching hospital regarding preventing and treating PU; reformulate and evaluate the Preventing and Treating Clinical Guideline for PU; develop and evaluate an semi-presential educational process regarding PU. This research has been divided in three steps. In the first one, actions for preventing and treating the conditions in the hospital were gathered through interviews with nurses. The second step consisted in reformulating and evaluating the Preventing and Treating Clinical Guideline for PU made by nurses from the institutions and experts on the subject. The third step was corresponding to a semi-presential educational process regarding PU. The most used action taken to prevent PU at the institution was verified to be changing the decubitus. Most interviewed professionals ignored the existence of a protocol for preventing this condition. The clinical guideline was successfully reformulated and evaluated. However, it requires updating and more supporting scientific evidences on the matter of treating PU. The semi-presential course had 83 subscriptions, wherein 44 of them (53.01%) have concluded it and were certified. The actions taken subsidized the implementation of the Preventing and Treating Clinical Guideline for PU in the institution by the professionals who work there.
