Um mergulho profundo : a alter-ação de Alice através do fantástico

Abstract

Resumo: Esta pesquisa tem por objetivo investigar o uso do modo fantástico na construção da identidade/alteridade de Alice, personagem central do clássico Alice in Wonderland, do escritor inglês Lewis Carroll. A pesquisa busca aliar discussões sobre o modo fantástico às discussões sobre identidade/alteridade de autores teóricos diversos, Tzvetan Todorov, Remo Ceserani, H.P.Lovecraft, Zygmunt Bauman, Tomaz Tadeu da Silva, Gilles Deleuze, afim de evidenciar o grande abarcamento teórico que a obra suporta sem ser classificada de uma única forma e, tampouco, sem desmerecer o esforço de reflexão trazido pelas teorias. A pesquisa revela tanto o comportamento pós-moderno quanto a atitude fantástica de Alice, em que ambos concebem o Outro como elemento fundamental no processo de autorreconhecimento. A pesquisa reflete sobre as interferências do modo fantástico na obra e no comportamento da menina. E, assim, o modo fantástico literário na obra de investigação descortina reflexões sobre a condição de Alice naquele país.

Abstract: This research aims to investigate the use of the fantastic mode in the construction of identity / alterity of Alice, the central character of the classic Alice in Wonderland, the English writer Lewis Carroll. The research seeks to combine discussions on fantastic to the diverse theoretical authors discussions on identity/alterity, Tzvetan Todorov, Remo Ceserani, HPLovecraft, Zygmunt Bauman, Tomaz Tadeu da Silva, Gilles Deleuze, in order to highlight the great theoretical encompassing the work supports without being classified as a single form, and either, without disparaging the effort of reflection brought by theories. The research reveals both the behavior postmodern as Alice's fantastic attitude in which both conceive. The otherness as a fundamental element in the process of self-recognition. The research reflects on the interference of fantastic mode in the work and in girl's behavior. And thus, literary fantastic mode on work of investigation reveals reflections on Alice's condition in that country.
