Ethos e movimento : um estudo sobre mobilidade e organização social Mbyá Guarani no litoral Sul do Brasil

Resumo: Os Mbyá constituem uma das parcialidades do povo Guarani cujos deslocamentos espaciais se tornaram tema clássico nos estudos sobre o grupo. Distribuídos atualmente em um amplo território que abrange desde o leste paraguaio, nordeste da Argentina e norte do Uruguai, até as regiões sul e sudeste do Brasil, os Mbyá não concebem as fronteiras políticas entre países ou estados como algo a delimitar o território por onde caminham. Seu caminhar se baseia em uma vida social que se realiza entre aldeias, fazendo da mobilidade uma categoria estrutural do modo de ser Mbyá. Por tal perspectiva caminha também a construção desta dissertação, que tem por base o estudo etnográfico da mobilidade a partir das populações que se encontram no litoral do Paraná. Acompanhar os deslocamentos, bem como os discursos e narrativas sobre eles, aguçou a reflexão sobre as formas com que a mobilidade ativa e mantém a rede de sociabilidade Mbyá. O objetivo central do presente estudo está voltado às conexões entre categorias como migração e circularidade, enfatizando-se aí a importância das migrações contemporâneas, que não resultam necessariamente em expansão territorial, mas também na consolidação do território tradicional existente, a partir da formação de alianças matrimoniais e políticas. Abstract: Mbyá constitutes one of the partialities of Guarani people which spatial displacement became a classic theme of the studies related to this group. Actually they are living distributed in a large territorial area, since East Paraguay, Northeast Argentina and North of Uruguay, comprising also South and Southeast Brazil. Mbyá does not conceive political borders between countries or districts as something to delimitate along the landscape where they move. The displacement is based in social life between settlements, making the mobility a categorical structure of the Mbyá life style. Considering this perspective the present dissertation was structured, based in the study of ethnographic mobility of populations of the littoral of Paraná State. Follow the movements, as well as the discourse and narratives of Mbyá, grinded the reflection about the ways of the mobility activates and maintain their sociability network. The central objective of this study is understand the connection between categories as migration and circularity, emphasizing the importance of contemporaneous migrations, involving not necessarily territorial expansion, but also the consolidation of the existing traditional territory, since the formation of matrimonial alliances and politics.
