Análise da degradaçao ambiental da Vila de Encantadas - Ilha do Mel/PR, com enfoque no lixo - uma introdução

Abstract

Resumo: A produção de resíduos sólidos na região da Vila de Encantadas, Ilha do Mel /Paraná, apresenta momentos distintos devido ao fluxo de turistas que visitam a região durante a temporada de verão (final de dezembro a início de março). Como o turismo é a principal atividade econômica na Ilha do Mel, os comerciantes da Vila de Encantadas aproveitam a época de vera- neio para intensificar essas atividades, visando aumentar sua rentabilida- de. Com o aumento da população ocorre também um aumento significati- vo no consumo de produtos, refletindo na produção do lixo na região da Vila de Encantadas. Nesta época do ano é possível observar alguns pon- tos em que os resíduos são lançados por turistas e alguns moradores da região, causando danos ao ambiente. Levando em consideração a degra- dação ambiental originada pela produção de resíduos sólidos, buscou-se efetuar um levantamento sobre a distribuição espacial do lixo na região da Vila de Encantadas, em épocas diferenciadas, para fins de comparação dos períodos de baixa e alta temporada e a influência do turismo na produção de resíduos sólidos. Outro fator que contribui com a degradação do ambiente na Vila de Encantadas, se faz presente nos lançamentos de esgotos sem tra- tamento prévio nos córregos da Ilha. Como base de análise para essa questão, foi escolhido o Rio da Ponte, principal rio da Vila de Encantadas. onde foi realizada uma adaptação do mapeamento dos pontos de lançamentos de esgotos.

Abistract: The production of solid residues in the region of the ‘Vila de Encantadas – Ilha do Mel/Paraná presents distinct moments due to the flow of tourists who visit the region during the season of summer (final of December á beginning of March). The tourism is the main activity in the Ilha do Mel, the traders of the ‘Vila de Encantadas use to advantage the time of summering pair to intensify these activities, aiming at to increase its yield. With the increase of the population, a significant increase in the consumption of products also occurs, reflecting in the production of the garbage in the region of the Vila de Encantadas. At this time of the year it is possible to observe some points where the residues are launched by tourist and some inhabitants of the region, causing damages to the environment. Taking in consideration the ambient degradation originated by the production of solid residues, one searched to effect a survey on the space distribution of the garbage in the region of the Villa de Encantadas, at differentiated times, for ends of comparison of the periods of low and high season and the influence of the tourism in the production of solid residues. Another factor that contributes with the degradation of the environment in the Vila de Encantadas’, if makes gift in the launchings of sewers without previous treatment in streams of the region. As base of analysis for this question, the River was chosen da Ponte, main river of the Vila de Encantadas, where it was carried through an adaptation of the of the points of launching of sewers and registers of the same ones by means of photos.
