Cidade dos mortos ou lugar dos vivos? : estudos das características das manifestações sociais e suas implicações com a sociedade de União da Vitória a partir do Cemitério Municipal

Abstract

Resumo: Propomos, com a presente pesquisa, explicar o espaço do cemitério sob o ponto de vista das representações sociais. Para tanto, realizamos pesquisas de levantamento teórico, de campo – com fotografias, entrevistas e investigação, para atingir nossos objetivos, que podem ser sintetizados em: apresentar as representações sociais no cemitério, entender e conhecer os fatores sociais e culturais da cidade de União da Vitória na reprodução de seus costumes e de seus interesses no cemitério. A pesquisa, assim, delineou-se num trabalho voltado para a devida compreensão do Cemitério Bom Jesus, de União da Vitória (o Cemitério Municipal) como espaço de representações dos sujeitos sociais, seus discursos, suas ações e a sua forma de representarem-se na sociedade, bem como das manifestações simbólicas que interagem com o cotidiano. Assim é que o termo "cemitério", cunhado nas representações sociais, neste trabalho, trata-se de um local que permite a preservação de traços da cultura e da sociedade. Há no cemitério, desta forma, um campo profícuo para a pesquisa da vida social e suas representações, já que o cemitério é um local que se mostra permanente na relação entre mortos e vivos, entre as relações representativas ou simbólicas e as condições objetivas ou subjetivas dos atores sociais. Há, também, os aspectos de suas experiências compartilhadas, a rede de comunicação, pensamentos e idéias que se fazem pelas representações sociais. A necrópole que estudamos, é um espaço das ações humanas de maneira sistêmica que permite uma visão geral e interativa da realidade.

Abstract: We consider, with the present research, to explain the space of the cemetary under the point of view of the social representations. For in such a way, we carry through research of theoretical survey, field - with photographs, interviews and inquiry, to reach our objectives, that can be synthecized in: to present the social representations in the cemetary, to understand and to know the social and cultural factors of the city of União da Vitória (Paraná – Brasil) in the reproduction of its customs and its interests in the cemetary. The research, thus, delineated in a work directed toward the had understanding of the Cemitério Bom Jesus, as space of representations of the social citizens, its speeches, its action and its form to be imagined in the society, as well as of the symbolic manifestations that interact with the daily one. Thus it is that the term "cemetary", brother-in-law in the social representations, this work, is about a place that allows the preservation of traces of the culture and the society. It has in the cemetary, of this form, a field very important for the research of the social life and its representations, since the cemetary is a place that if it shows permanent in the relation between died and livings creature, between the representative or symbolic relations and the objective or subjective conditions of the social actors. It has, also, the aspects of its shared experiences, the net of communication, thoughts and ideas that if make for the social representations. The necropolis that we study, is a space of the actions human beings in structural way that allows a general and interactive vision of the reality.
