Condicionantes da implantação da indústria de confecção na mesorregião sudoeste do Paraná e suas perspectivas

Abstract

Resumo: A indústria de confecção foi uma das indústrias precursora do processo de industrialização da Mesorregião Sudoeste do Paraná. Essa indústria iniciou suas atividades na Mesorregião no final da década de 1970 e inicio da década de 1980. A partir da década de 1990, teve um expressivo crescimento tanto em número de unidades industriais quanto em termos de participação na geração de emprego e renda se posicionando entre os setores industriais com maior importância econômica para a Região. A presente pesquisa visa identificar os fatores que condicionaram a implantação da indústria de confecção na Mesorregião Sudoeste do Paraná e suas perspectivas. Para tanto, o estudo sistematiza algumas reflexões teóricas relacionadas à competitividade sistêmica da indústria, analisando os fatores sistêmicos que influenciam na competitividade da indústria em nível internacional, nacional, estadual e regional, avalia a competitividade da indústria de confecção no Brasil, reconstitui o processo de implantação e desenvolvimento da indústria de confecção brasileira nas três esferas (nacional, estadual e regional) e, por fim, estabelece um conjunto de fatores que influenciaram na implantação da indústria de confecção na Mesorregião Sudoeste do Paraná e destaca as perspectivas dessa indústria na Região.

Abstract: The confection industry was one of the industries precursory of the process of industrialization of the Southwestern Mesorregião of the Paraná. This industry initiated its activities in the Southwestern Mesorregião in the end of the decade of 1970 and beginning of the decade of 1980. From the decade of 1990, it in such a way had a expressive growth in the Region in number of industrial units, how much in terms of participation in the generation of job and income, if locating it enters the industrial sectors with bigger economic importance for Region. The present work aims at to identify the factors that had conditioned the implantation of the industry of confection in the Southwestern Mesorregião of the Paraná and its perspectives. For in such a way, the study it systemize some related theoretical reflections to the sistêmica competitiveness of the industry, analyzing the sistêmicos factors that influence in the competitiveness of the industry to the international level, national, state e regional, it evaluates the competitiveness of the industry of confection in Brazil, it reconstitutes to the process of implantation and development of the industry of Brazilian confection in the three spheres (national, state and regional) e, finally, it establishes a set of factors that had influenced in the implantation of the industry of confection in the Southwestern Mesorregião of the Paraná and detaches the perspectives of this industry in the Region.
