O significado do turismo no roteiro

Abstract

Resumo: A pesquisa integra aportes geográficos (cultural, humanista e das representações) e do turismo (rural, cultural e roteiros), com fio condutor na fenomenologia tendo em vista o conceito de mundo vivido e as subjetividades dele decorrentes. Num contexto de famílias que vivem do trabalho no campo e passam a reorganizar seu espaço de vivência em razão do turismo, o trabalho tem como referência o estudo de caso sobre o roteiro Caminhos de Guajuvira, no município de Araucária. Com o objetivo principal de analisar o significado do turismo para os moradores que recebem os visitantes em suas propriedades, realiza-se a pesquisa empírica de caráter qualitativo, por intermédio de mapas mentais analisados pela metodologia Kozel e associados à técnica de observação participativa. Neste sentido, o mapa mental adquire um caráter sociocultural na medida em que expressa e reflete o espaço vivido e as percepções dele advindas. Entende-se que o significado do turismo está aliado às transformações do espaço vivido revelado através de modificações nos hábitos, aquisição de novos conhecimentos, valorização de manifestações culturais, mudanças na forma de organizar a propriedade, alterações ligadas à privacidade da família rural, geração de renda, elevação da auto-estima e intensificação do sentimento topofílico. Nesta trajetória passamos a compreender a necessidade de um olhar mais humano para analisar o turismo, evidenciando o homem como principal sujeito da atividade.

Abstract: The research integrates geographical approaches (cultural, humanistic and representational) and tourism approaches (rural, cultural, and itineraries) on a phenomenologic basis, with focus on the concept of lifeworld and resulting subjectivities. In a context where families living on the work in rural areas begin to reorganize their existential space from the perspective of tourism, this research has as its reference the case study about the itinerary Caminhos de Guajuvira, in the municipal district of Araucaria / PR. With the main objective of analyzing the meaning of tourism to the inhabitants who receive the visitors in their properties, the empiric qualitative research is established, through mental maps analyzed by the Kozel methodology and associated to the technique of participative observation. In this sense, the mental map acquires a sociocultural character in the way it is expressed and it reflects the lived space and brought perceptions. We understand that the meaning of tourism is connected to the transformations of the lived space revealed through modifications in the habits, new knowledge acquisition, cultural expressions valuation, property organization changes, alterations in the privacy of the rural family, income generation, self-confidence and enhancement of the topophilic feeling. Along these paths we began to understand the need for a more humanistic view of tourism, emphasizing man as the main subject of the activity.
