Objetivos de desenvolvimento sustentável e justiça restaurativa : promoção da paz e construção de novos valores civilizatórios na educação

Abstract

Resumo: O presente trabalho visa a descortinar os novos cenários de aproximação entre os estudos de Direito, teoria da justiça restaurativa e a educação ambiental. E o ponto de encontro reside no campo das práticas escolares e a busca pedagógica de superação da violência, seja no plano social e também ambiental. Para tanto a pesquisa toma como ponto de partida uma breve exposição da trajetória pedagógica e história de vida da autora que alicerçam sua investigação e a opção pela pós-graduação em ensino das ciências ambientais. Logo a seguir o texto desvela uma linha argumentativa instauradora de reflexões sobre os fundamentos conceituais do debate que ensejam problematizar o lugar e o papel social da Comunicação não Violenta e da Justiça Restaurativa em um horizonte pedagógico de superação das manifestações da violência em nossa sociedade. Trata-se de um ensaio teórico e existencial em que se entrelaçam as vivências profissionais da autora e a procura por uma cidadania planetária calcada na ética do bem viver em comunhão entre todos os seres. Utopia e pragmatismo se mesclam, portanto, na proposição e na alma do trabalho. Ao final, a dissertação aponta para novas possibilidades de estudos e o papel da justiça restaurativa no plano normativo local

Abstract: This paper aims to uncover new scenarios for the convergence of Law studies, restorative justice theory, and environmental education. The meeting point lies in the field of school practices and the pedagogical search for overcoming violence, both socially and environmentally. To this end, the research takes as its starting point a brief exposition of the author's pedagogical trajectory and life story, which underpin her research and her choice of a postgraduate degree in environmental sciences teaching. The text then reveals an argumentative line that establishes reflections on the conceptual foundations of the debate that allow problematizing the place and social role of Nonviolent Communication and Restorative Justice in a pedagogical horizon of overcoming the manifestations of violence in our society. This is a theoretical and existential essay that intertwines the author's professional experiences and the search for a planetary citizenship based on the ethics of living well in communion among all beings. Utopia and pragmatism are therefore intertwined in the proposition and soul of the work. In the end, the dissertation points to new possibilities for studies and the role of restorative justice in the local normative plan
