O conceito de educação na pedagogia histórico-crítica

Abstract

Resumo: O estudo da categoria educação na busca pela compreensão de sua concretude nessa dissertação foi tomado à luz da obra do renomado autor brasileiro Dermeval Saviani. A leitura dos textos pautou-se sobre a concepção da relação entre educação e trabalho, educação e conhecimento e educação e sociedade. Desta feita, tratamos da educação e seus fundamentos bem como da sua manifestação sob a forma de educação escolar no capitalismo, além de tratarmos da crítica feita pelo autor às correntes pedagógicas não críticas e críticas-reprodutivistas, apontando a Pedagogia Histórico-crítica de Dermeval Saviani como a forma de se compreender o papel da educação, do conhecimento e da escola numa perspectiva voltada a superação da sociedade de classes e na luta por uma escola pública de qualidade que condiga com os interesses da classe trabalhadora. O estudo tem por método o materialismohistórico dialético por entendermos que tal concepção trata da totalidade das categorias na medida em que as considera segundo suas relações e não de forma isolada. Abstract: The study of the education category in the search for understanding of its concreteness in this dissertation was taken under light of the work of reputed Brazilian author Dermeval Saviani. The reading of the texts was based on the conception of the relationship between education and work, education and knowledge and education and society. This time, we treat education and its foundations as well as its manifestation in the form of school education in capitalism, besides dealing with the criticism made by the author to the current educational non-critical and criticai reproductivist, pointing to the HistoricaiCritical Pedagogy Dermeval Saviani as a way to understand the role of education, knowledge in a perspective of the school facing the overcoming of class society and in the struggle for a quality public school that matches the concernments of the working class. The study is based on the method of dialectical materialism and historical for understanding that this conception comes from ali of the classes in that regards them according to their relationships and not in isolation.
