A transmissão de escândalos políticos pelo telejornalismo paranaense : um estudo de caso sobre a série

Abstract

Resumo: Este trabalho analisa as reportagens da série Diários Secretos, transmitidas pela RPCTV no ano de 2010. As reportagens se referem ao escândalo político ocorrido na Assembleia Legislativa do Paraná naquele ano. Com o objetivo de investigar o modo como o telejornalismo atua na transmissão de escândalos políticos, foram realizadas entrevistas com os jornalistas responsáveis pela Série e pesquisa documental. Diante disso, coloca-se em questão: De que forma a mídia intermediou o escândalo político na Assembleia Legislativa do Paraná, através da série "Diários Secretos", entre representantes e sociedade, sendo que para uma parcela da população a TV é a principal fonte de informação? Como o jornalismo atua na fiscalização, veiculação, crítica e análise do sistema político? Como metodologia empírica foi adotada a análise de conteúdo das reportagens da Série, transmitidas entre os dias 15 e 22 de Março de 2010, durante a primeira e segunda edição do telejornal Paraná TV. Teoricamente, busca-se refletir sobre o papel da televisão, sobre o conceito de escândalos políticos, sobre o telejornalismo paranaense e sobre jornalismo investigativo. A análise quantitativa e qualitativa aponta que houve um agendamento do tema para a sociedade, porém o mesmo não influenciou na reeleição de alguns envolvidos no escândalo. Fica também destacada a forma espetacularizada como as informações foram passadas pelos telejornais, através das fontes utilizadas e do tempo elevado destinado ao assunto durante as edições dos telejornais. Abstract: This paper analyzes the reports of the Secret Diaries series, transmitted by RPCTV in the year 2010. The reports are about the political scandal that took place in the House of Representatives in Paraná during that year. With the objective of investigating how Tele journalism plays a role in the transmission of political scandals, interviews with the journalists responsible for the Diaries were held, and documentary research was conducted . This puts into question: how did the media handle the political scandal of the Secret Diaries in the House of Representatives of Paraná between the representatives and society. Considering that for a portion of the population, television is the main source of information, how does journalism play a role in monitoring, critiquing and analyzing the political system? As an empirical methodology, a content analysis was conducted including news articles of the series broadcasted between the 15th and the 22th of March 2010, during the first and second editions of television news Paraná TV. Theoretically, it is intended to reveal the role of television, the concept of political scandals, news broadcasting in Parana, and investigative journalism. Quantitative and qualitative analysis points out that there was an intentional schedule for presentation of the theme for society, but it did not influence the re-election of some of the representatives involved in the scandal. It is also highlighted how the "show" forum was the way information was passed by TV news, through the sources used and the amount of time dedicated to the subject during the editions analyzed.
