O regente como educador musical : saberes para a prática do canto coral com adolescentes

Abstract

Resumo: A pesquisa tem por objetivo identificar os saberes necessários à prática do regente de coro juvenil, sob a ótica dos próprios regentes que atuam nesses espaços. Como objetivos específicos busca-se analisar as interfaces da atividade de regente-educador, identificar em que âmbito a atividade de canto coral para adolescentes se configura como atividade de educação musical, discutir as possibilidades metodológicas para o trabalho com coros juvenis, compreender a formação pedagógico-musical dos regentes e entender as concepções dos regentes sobre a prática do canto coral com adolescentes. A metodologia utilizada consiste em um estudo de caso com abordagem qualitativa, com observação e entrevistas semiestruturadas com os regentes dos coros investigados e questionários com os adolescentes integrantes dos coros. A principal contribuição dessa pesquisa é fazer com que regentes e educadores musicais reflitam sobre sua formação e prática pedagógica, buscando desenvolver um trabalho que atenda às características fisiológicas, emocionais, sociais e musicais de seu grupo.

Abstract: The objective of this research is to identify the necessary knowledge to the practice of youth conductor choir from the perspective of the conductor. The specific objectives are to analyze the interfaces of activity conductor-educator, identify in which scope the teenagers choir activity fit an musical education activity, discuss the methodological possibilities for working with youth choirs; comprehend the pedagogical musical formation of conductor and understand their conceptions about the practice of choir with teenagers. The methodology chosen consist in a case study with a qualitative approach, with observation and semi-structured interviews with the choir conductors investigated and questionnaires with the teenagers choirs members. The main contribution of this research is to make the choir conductors and music educators to reflect about their qualification and pedagogical practice with the objective to develop a work that fits the physiological, emotional, social and musical characteristics of their group.
