O espaço urbano vivido, percorrido e produzido por práticas artísticas contemporâneas, na Cidade de Curitiba

Abstract

Resumo: Em algumas de suas práticas, alguns artistas visuais contemporâneos de Curitiba têm se afastado dos espaços culturais institucionais e levado suas proposições artísticas para o espaço das ruas, em um fazer e um pensar que se volta ao fazer e ao pensar dos habitantes. O objetivo da presente tese é analisar algumas ações artísticas contemporâneas emblemáticas e recentes de Curitiba, realizadas pelos coletivos de artistas visuais E/OU, Interluxartelivre, e Tom Lisboa, fora dos espaços institucionais reservados à arte, seu impacto e colaboração na produção do espaço vivido dos habitantes. A principal questão deste trabalho refere-se à investigação sobre as formas que o espaço vivido pareceu tomar, a partir dos agenciamentos que envolveram as proposições artísticas, que ora colocaram em relevo as relações de territorialidade, ora deram ênfase às questões envolvidas com a vivência do lugar, ora se voltaram para a intervenção, novas percepções, e modificações da paisagem, no estabelecimento do que a crítica e historiadora da arte Miwon Kwon chamou de "arte no interesse público". O caminhar, o percurso, a "trajetividade" - Paul Virilio -, como objetos das práticas artísticas, foram tomados como categorias especiais, no âmbito do espaço urbano vivido. Não se buscou realizar um panorama de todas as ações artísticas desse tipo, mas, sim, dar destaque a algumas que, em sua concepção e execução, estabeleceram relações dialéticas entre determinados grupos socioculturais, em determinados espaços urbanos. Do ponto de vista teórico-metodológico, se realiza uma pesquisa qualitativa, em que os discursos, sejam visuais ou verbais, estão sendo analisados, principalmente, à luz da semiótica dos agenciamentos deleuziana, dos espaços-mundo de Sahr, das estórias-até-agora de Massey, e da trialética espacial de Henri Lefebvre.

Abstract: In some of their practices, some visual artists have moved away from the cultural institutional spaces and taken their artistic propositions to the streets in adoing and thinking that swerve to the doing and thinking of the inhabitants. The purpose of this thesis is to analyze some recent contemporary symbolic actions in Curitiba; accomplished by groups of visual artists E/OU, Interluxartelivre, and Tom Lisboa, outside the institutional spaces reserved to art, their impact and collaboration in the production of the space lived by the inhabitants. The main question of this work refers to the investigation of forms that the space lived has appeared to take, from the agencements that involved the artistic propositions, which have now and then enhanced the territorial connections, emphasized the questions involved with the life mode of the place, or, have , some times turned to the intervention, new perceptions, and the landscape changing, in the setting of what the art critic and historian Miwon Kwon stated as the art in the public interest. The moving, the route, the trajectivity - Paul Virilio - , as objects of art practices, have been taken as selected categories in the scope of the urban space. A panorama of all the artistic actions, of this kind, have not been sought as an accomplishment but as a highlight of some which, in their conception and production, have established dialetic relations with certain socio-cultural groups in certain urban spaces. From the theoretical-methodological point-of-view there comes to be a qualitative research where the discourses, whether visual or verbal, are mainly being analyzed under the semiotic light of the Deleuzian agencements, of the world-spaces of Sahr, of the "up-to-now" of Massey, and the spacial " trialectic" of Henri Lefebvre.
