As psicoses na obra de Freud à luz da categoria do estranho

Abstract

Resumo: Esta dissertação é resultado de uma pesquisa de mestrado voltada para a questão das psicoses dentro do campo da psicanálise. Nela, interroga-se sobre lugar que as psicoses ocuparam na obra de Freud, referência teórica fundamental para os psicanalistas. Numa primeira revisão dos textos freudianos que tratam do tema, percebe-se um movimento que conjuga aproximações e afastamentos no que tange às diferenças e similaridades entre o mecanismo defensivo empregado pelas psicoses e pelas neuroses, considerando esta última a matriz clínica da qual Freud parte para a construção de sua teoria. Com isso, discute-se acerca do lugar das psicoses na psicanálise tendo-se como referência a categoria do estranho. Para tanto, investiga-se inicialmente a maneira com que Freud conceitua a categoria do estranho em sua obra, associando-a a angústia de castração. Também, aborda-se as contribuições lacanianas acerca do estranho em relação ao afeto de angústia. De posse destas noções, os trabalhos de Freud sobre as psicoses são retomados na busca de entrever, em seu esforço de teorização, o estabelecimento de uma relação de estranhamento entre elas, as neuroses e a vida ordinária. Finalmente, reflete-se sobre as implicações que esta leitura da obra de Freud tem no que diz respeito à noção de castração na psicanálise e seus efeitos na clínica.

Abstract: This dissertation is the result of a research focused on the issue of psychosis within the field of psychoanalysis. In it, wondered about the place that occupied psychosis in Freud's work, fundamental theoretical reference for psychoanalysts. In the first revision of Freudian texts dealing with the issue, we find a movement that combines approaches and departures in terms of differences and similarities between the defense mechanism employed by the psychoses and neuroses, the latter considering the clinical matrix from which part to Freud the construction of his theory. With this, we discuss about the place in psychoanalysis of psychosis taking as reference the category of the uncanny. For this purpose, initially investigates the way in which Freud conceptualizes the category of the uncanny in his work, linking it to castration anxiety. Also, he talks about the contributions Lacanian odd about the affect of anxiety. Armed with these notions, the work of Freud on psychoses are reflected in the search for a glimpse, in his effort to theorization, establishing a relationship of uncannyment between them, the neuroses and ordinary life. Finally, it reflects on the implications that this reading of Freud's work is with regard to the notion of castration in psychoanalysis and its effects in the clinic.
