Análise de populações de Lepidoptera em comunidades florestais de Araucaria angustifolia, Eucalyptus grandis e Pinus taeda

Abstract

Resumo: Esta pesquisa foi realizada na Fazenda Monte Alegre, de propriedade da Klabin do Paraná Agroflorestal S.A. no município de Telêmaco Borba-PR. Teve como objetivo principal analisar o comportamento de populações de Lepidoptera em comunidades florestais constituídas por Araucaria angustifolia. Eucalyptus grandis e Pinus taeda com diferentes estágios de desenvolvimento entre si. Foram realizadas coletas noturnas com utilização de armadilha luminosa em um ponto fixo de cada comunidade, com intervalo de uma a quatro semanas entre elas, no período de setembro de 1991 a junho de 1992. Para o estudo das populações foram analisados a flutuação populacional e os índices faunísticos, representados pela freqüência relativa, constância, abundância, dominância e diversidade. Estudou-se também a delimitação das comunidades através do quociente e porcentagem de similaridade. Foram coletadas 599 espécies em Araucaria angustifolia. 750 em Eucalyptus grandis e 480 em Pinus taeda. As flutuações das espécies mais abundantes em cada comunidade não apresentaram correlação com os fatores climáticos estudados. Aproximadamente 95% das espécies registradas em cada comunidade apresentou freqüência relativa inferior a 1%. Um percentual superior a 85% das populações de Lepidoptera em cada comunidade está composto por espécies de ocorrência acidental. As espécies não dominantes representaram mais de 80% das populações nas três comunidades estudadas. A comunidade de Eucalyptus grandis apresentou maior índice de diversidade em relação às demais. Observou-se maior similaridade entre as comunidades de Eucalyptus grandis e Araucaria angustifolia. Ocorreram espécies potencialmente pragas com baixos índices numéricos.

Abstract: This research as achieved at farm "Mont Alegre", in Telêmaco Borba, Paraná, this farm belongs to Klabin do Paraná Agroflorestal S.A. The aim of this research was to analyse the behavior of the population of the order Lepidoptera that lives in the forest communities composed by Araucaria angustifolia, Eucalyptus grandis e Pinus taeda, in different internship of development, among them. The collects were made at night, using light trap at a fixed point of each community, with intermission from one to four weeks in the period from September 1991 to June 1992. Were analysed the population dynamics and the indexes about the frequency, constancy, abundance, dominance and diversity. The communities were also delimited by similarity quocients and its percentage. 599 species were registered in Araucaria angustifolia, 750 in Eucalyptus grandis and 480 in Pinus taeda. The population dynamics of the species more abundant didn't show correspondence with the clime factors studied, about 95 % of the species registered in each community showed the by frequency under 1 %. A percentage upper to 85 % of the populations of the order Lepidoptera in each community is composed species of accidental occurrence. The species not dominant represented more than 80 % of the populations in the three communities studied. The community of Eucalyptus grandis sowed the largest diversity in relation to anothers. It was observed the most similarity among communities of Eucalyptus grandis and Araucaria angustifolia. The species potential pest occurred with numerical indexes.
