Ser visto é estar morto : Miguel Bakun e o meio artístico paranaense

Abstract

Resumo: Miguel Bakun, pintor que viveu em Curitiba entre 1931 e 1963, é o personagem central deste trabalho. Periódicos de sua época e entrevistas foram fundamentais para a compreensão da posição de Bakun no meio artístico local antes e depois da sua morte. Eles serviram para a verificação de que, pela a atuação de alguns agentes e instâncias de consagração, Bakun, em vida visto como simplório e ingênuo, foi consagrado na morte. Assim, observamos que, passado o preconceito pelo homem, foi possivel apreciar a obra. Palavras-chave: Miguel Bakun; Trajetória artística; História da Arte Paranaense do século XX.

Abstract: Miguel Bakun, a painter that lived in Curitiba between 1931 and 1963, is the main character of this work. Periodicals of his time and interviews were fundamental for understanding the position of Bakun in the local artist scene before and after his death. They served to verify that, by action o f some agents and institutions of artistic consecration. Bakun, that in life was seem as simple and naive, was consecrated in death. Thus, we observe when overcoming the prejudice for the man, it was possible to appreciate his work. Key words: Miguel Bakun; Artistic trajectory; History of Parana's 20 century arts.
