O espelho de vênus, poesia e experiência em Adélia Prado

Abstract

Resumo : O presente estudo procura, através da análise de poemas, demonstrar alguns procedimentos do fazer poético de Adélia Prado. Tendo suscitado, desde seu primeiro livro, uma boa receptividade por parte da crítica, a poesia da autora continua a ser abordada preferencialmente a partir de seu aspecto temático, em que o cotidiano, a religiosidade e o feminino são os elementos mais comuns. Os temas levantados pela crítica, em especial a questão da escrita feminina, são considerados neste estudo paralelamente ao resgate da memória e da experiência, como elementos de sustentação dos poemas. Em função disso o trabalho buscou, a partir de uma leitura dos cinco livros de poesia da autora, revelar como os grandes temas da obra se realizam na poesia e como é a linguagem poética o verdadeiro elemento articulador desses temas. Assim, a consciência da palavra e sua concretização no poema, muitas vezes expressos através da metalinguagem, sobressaem como características fundamentais do poético na obra.

Abstract : This study aims at demonstrating, through the analysis of poems, some procedures that constitute Adélia Prado's poetic composition. Having met a favourable reception from the critics since the publication of her first book, the author's poetry has been approached mainly through its thematic aspects, which have everyday life, religion and femininity as their most common elements. The themes pointed out by the critics especially the question of women's writing along with the recovery of memory and experience, are considered in this study as the elements upon which the poems are based. Therefore, the investigation sought to reveal, through a critical reading of the author's five volumes of poetry, the way in which the major themes of her work are realized in her poems, and to show that poetic language is the true element connecting all of these themes. Thus, the awareness of the word and its realization in the poem, very often expressed by means of metalanguage, stand out as the fundamental characteristics of the poetic essence in Adélia Prado's work.
