Gênero e sexualidade na literatura infantil : mapeando resistências

Abstract

Resumo: A partir da perspectiva foucaultiana de resistência, nesta dissertação são analisados, entre os livros infantis presentes nas escolas, aqueles que apresentam personagens que rompem com a representação do masculino e do feminino dentro da lógica dicotômica e da sexualidade tida como hegemônica, evidenciando o caráter social e histórico dessas construções. O trabalho investigativo pressupõe uma estreita relação entre a produção literária voltada para a infância e os discursos da escola enquanto articuladora de regimes de verdade sobre o que é adequado para ser oferecido para os sujeitos em processo de formação. Realiza um questionamento sobre a naturalidade com que se revestem socialmente as questões de gênero e sexualidade, procurando desestabilizar a fixidez e imutabilidade de algumas certezas. Acredita que uma história infantil pode permitir o contato da criança com modelos que não compartilham do objetivo de normalizar a conduta de meninas e meninos com características excludentes, mas que valorizam a pluralidade como mote para a construção de suas identidades. Além da perspectiva foucaultiana, este trabalho conta também com as contribuições sobre questões de gênero e sexualidade das pesquisas trilhadas pelos Estudos Feministas e pelos Estudos Culturais, assim como pelos autores que fundamentam a proposta de Análise do Discurso. Para o processo de seleção das obras foram definidas como categorias de análise: o empoderamento e a ocupação do espaço público pela mulher, a maternidade e a função de cuidados com os filhos, o sexismo, a homofobia, a generificação dos artefatos culturais, a diferença e a desigualdade entre homens e mulheres, o cruzamento das questões de gênero com questões de raça e classe.

Abstract: Starting from the foucault’s perspective about resistance, in this dissertation they are analyzed among the books for children that’s exist in the schools, those that introduce characters that break up with the representation of the masculine and of the feminine inside, in the binary logic and in the sexuality had as dominant, evidencing the social and historical character of those constructions. The investigator work for research, presupposes a narrow relationship among the literary production, gone back to the childhood, and the speeches of the school while the generate power of truth regimes on what is adapted to be offered for the subjects in formation process. Accomplishes a study of questions about the naturalness with that they are covered the gender subjects and sexuality socially, seeking to unbalance the rigidity and unchangeability of some certainties. It is believed that an infantile history can allow the child's contact with models that don't share of the objective of normalizing the girls' conduct and boys with excluding characteristics, but that value the plurality as sense and direction for the construction of your identities. Besides the foucault’s perspective, this work also tells with the contributions about gender subjects and sexuality of the researches thrashed by the Feminist Studies and for the Cultural Studies, as well as for the authors that base the proposal of Analysis of the Speech. For the process of selection of the works they were defined as analysis categories: the power’s exercise and the occupation of the public space for the woman, the maternity and the function of cares with the children, the sexism, the homofobus behavior, the popularization of the cultural workmanships, the difference and the inequality between men and women, the crossing of the gender subjects with race subjects and class.
