Abstract: The following work has emerged from the leading question: which is the relationship between a Parana’s History discipline code consolidation and the formation of a "Paranaense’s" identity? Therefore, the concept of discipline code has became the guidding line, and then the work moved its focus to observe how was the Parana’s History teaching formed, trying to indentify the points that did never change, theones that did change, and the ones which were just forgotten, since the first indication of this subjects until the curriculum proposal of 1997-2000. It can be observed that the inclusion of this subjects in the school context has ocurred when the Parana’s intellectuals where involved in the "Paranaense’s" identity formation process. This can be represented by a sentiment of regional bellonging, which has been through moments of formation and re-formation, and starting with its identification in the school process, made by the research, is still present in the school culture.
