Linguagem : o preconceito por trás das palavras - uma análise de termos que expressam o racismo

Resumo : O conceito de raça surgiu no século XVIII, como sendo inerente a espécie humana e decorrente de "pesquisas científicas", com a finalidade de excluir e dominar. No século XIX reafirmou-se o racismo científico em consequência de teorias raciais que acrescentaram critérios morfológicos para salientar as desigualdades entre os seres humanos por meio do conceito de "raça" classificou-se a humanidade. Devido a esses estudos, ainda hoje é perceptível que, a linguagem tem sido profundamente marcada pela cultura preconceituosa e pode denotar que os próprios vocábulos, estruturas e entonações da língua trazem consigo uma história carregada de sentidos culturais e políticos. Por meio da linguagem, apresentamse discursos racistas que reafirmam por séculos, a imagem social dos negros, em grande maioria, em papeis sociais subalternos, sendo definidos a partir de um ponto de vista europeu. Diante desses apontamentos, tornou-se necessário refletir sobre o preconceito existente por trás das palavras. Para tanto, o presente trabalho objetivou analisar o papel da linguagem, na construção de modelos e padrões de representações sociais da branquidade normativa frente à sociedade brasileira, através da utilização de termos que expressam o racismo existente em seu cotidiano e no ambiente escolar. Tendo em vista que a língua permeia toda e qualquer relação humana e pode estar em toda e qualquer esfera da comunicação, transmitindo valores e sentidos, a pesquisa demonstrou que a linguagem colabora para que se perpetue o conceito de branquidade normativa. Abstract : The concept of race emerged in the eighteenth century, as being inherent in the human species and due to "scientific research", in order to exclude and dominate. In the nineteenth century reaffirmed the scientific racism as a result of racial theories which added morphological criteria to highlight the inequalities between human beings through the concept of "race" ranked humanity. Due to these studies, today is noticeable that the language has been deeply marked by biased culture and may denote that the words themselves, language structures and intonations bring with them a charged history of cultural and political meanings. Through language, appear racist discourses reaffirm for centuries, the social image of blacks in majority in subaltern social roles, being defined from a European point of view. Given these notes, it became necessary to reflect on the prejudice that exists behind the words. Therefore, this study aimed to analyze the role of language in the construction of models and social representations of patterns of normative whiteness forward to Brazilian society, through the use of terms expressing the existing racism in their everyday life at school. Given that the language permeates all human relationship and may be in any sphere of communication, conveying values and meanings, research has shown that language works to perpetuate the concept of normative whiteness.
