A forja e o combate : uma crônica historiográfica da guerra midiática contra o lulopetismo (2013-2018)

Abstract

Resumo: O som do martelo forjador ressoa ao bater de forma compassada no material que é plasticamente moldado. O calor da forja incandesce o metal que espalha centelhas a cada batida ensurdecedora que ecoa pela oficina. É ali que se forjam as adagas e os cutelos para o combate. As redações e conselhos editoriais dos grandes jornais se assemelham a essas oficinas de forjamento, moldando e provendo discursos públicos que circulam entre atores que lutam na arena política. Durante o contexto de crise do lulismo, os jornais O Globo e O Estado de S. Paulo engendraram, em sua tradicional forja editorial, narrativas jornalísticas para combater os motivos encantatórios do discurso lulista. Mobilizando recursos simbólicos e estéticos, esses jornais elaboraram, à quente, narrativas sobre o que chamavam de "lulopetismo", um suposto projeto de poder autoritário, corrompido e degenerado liderado por Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. Com modelações distintas, os editoriais forjaram um inimigo para combatê-lo sem tréguas. Ao empreender uma remontagem dos atos e cenas das sagas narrativas elaboradas através do gênero editorial entre 2013 e 2018 – metodologia livremente inspirada nos aportes teóricos de Paul Ricoeur, Sônia Meneses e Luiz Gonzaga Motta –, proponho historicizar os elementos discursivos utilizados na caracterização do "lulopetismo". Nesse sentido, procuro conversar com autores e autoras que me auxiliem a encontrar conexões com discursos de outros atores da desestabilização do lulismo, compreendendo as entretecidas redes de seus interesses políticos e econômicos. Este trabalho de pesquisa se insere no esforço de historiadoras e historiadores em fomentar uma produção relevante de narrativas historiográficas comprometidas com o imperativo ético e político de transformação. E tal abordagem assume a escrita da história enquanto tomada de posição na busca daquela "centelha da esperança" proclamada por Walter Benjamin. Ao se inserir na disputa narrativa sobre os sentidos do tempo presente, este trabalho busca se unir à luta para acender uma pequena centelha que interrompa um "inimigo que não tem cessado de vencer"

Abstract: The sound of the forge hammer resonates when beating shapely in the material that is plasticly shaped. The warmth of the forge incandesce the metal that spreads sparks with each deafening beat that echoes through the workshop. This is where the daggers and the cleavers for combat are forged. The editorial boards of the major newspapers resemble these forging workshops, shaping and providing public discourses that circulate among actors fighting in the political arena. During the context of the crisis of Lulism, the newspapers O Globo and the Estado de S. Paulo engendered, in their traditional editorial forge, journalistic narratives to combat the enchanting motives of the Lulist discourse. Mobilizing symbolic and aesthetic resources, these newspapers elaborated narratives about what they called "Lulopetism", an alleged project of authoritarian, corrupted and degenerated power led by Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. With different modeling, editorials forged an enemy to combat it without respite. By undertaking a reassembly of the acts and scenes of the narrative sagas elaborated through the editorial genre between 2013 and 2018 - methodology freely inspired by the theoretical contributions of Paul Ricoeur, Sônia Meneses and Luiz Gonzaga Motta -, I propose historicizing the discursive elements used in the characterization of "Lulopetism". In this sense, I try to talk to authors who help me to find connections with speeches by other actors of the destabilization of Lulism, understanding the entertaining networks of their political and economic interests. This research work is inserted in the effort of historians to foster a relevant production of historiographical narratives committed to the ethical and political imperative of transformation. And such an approach assumes the writing of history as a position in search of that "spark of hope" proclaimed by Walter Benjamin. In inserting themselves into the narrative dispute over the senses of the present tense, this work seeks to join the struggle to light a small spark that interrupts an "enemy who has not ceased to win"
