Resumo: Esse trabalho tem por objetivo compreender como o Conselho Municipal de Saúde de Inaka (Comsi) faz saúde. A pesquisa foi realizada no período de outubro de 2022 a julho de 2023, envolvendo observação participante em diferentes eventos, além de entrevistas com os interlocutores e pesquisas em documentos pertinentes ao Conselho. Através dessa, foi verificado que os conselhos de saúde foram criados à luz dos princípios do Sistema Único de Saúde (Sus) e, portanto, muitas das ações e falas dos interlocutores são evocações desses princípios como forma de garantir o direito à saúde. O estudo revelou como as conferências de saúde são elementos chave no fazer saúde de um conselho de saúde. Isso ocorre porque, durante o evento, elas apresentam uma força centrípeta, capturando várias perspectivas diferentes do que é saúde e como garanti-la à população e uma força centrífuga, reverberando falas, ações, acontecimentos, deliberações, entre outros, para outros espaços, como as reuniões do conselho. A Conferência Municipal de Saúde de Inaka de 2022 foi complexa e impactou a prática do Comsi nos meses seguintes – com a necessidade de novos arranjos e negociações para acomodar as instabilidades causadas por fatores do governo federal anterior e da pandemia do coronavírusAbstract: This study aims to understand how the Inaka Municipal Health Council (Comsi) provides health care. The qualitative method was used to conduct the research, with participant observation from October 2022 to July 2023, in addition to interviews with interlocutors and research in documents relevant to the Council. The research showed that the health councils were created in light of the principles of the Unified Health System (Sus) and, therefore, many of the actions and speeches of the interlocutors are evocations of these principles as a way of guaranteeing the right to health. The study revealed how health conferences are key elements in the health care of a health council. This is because, during the event, they present a centripetal force, capturing several different perspectives on what health is and how to guarantee it to the population, and, subsequently, a centrifugal force, reverberating speeches, actions, events, deliberations, etc., to other spaces, such as council meetings. The 2022 Inaka Municipal Health Conference was complex and impacted Comsi's practice in the following months – with the need for new arrangements and negotiations to accommodate the instabilities caused by factors from the previous federal government and the Coronavirus pandemic
