A fama e o monstro : a construção da imagem da cantora Lady Gaga em seu primeiro disco

Abstract

Resumo : A figura do cantor na música pop recebe uma posição de evidência, na qual é necessário existir também outros fatores para que se mantenha dessa maneira. Dentro dessa indústria, encontramos Lady Gaga, artista que tem uma imagem que se sobressai em relação à música, utilizando diversos desses fatores, como: surgimento na mídia desafiando valores morais da época, criação de personagem com visuais característicos para cada álbum, entre outros. Nesse estudo, constatamos que Gaga construiu sua imagem e sua performance artística pautadas em fórmulas já utilizadas por outros artistas, as quais foram responsáveis por levá-los ao sucesso e ascensão na mídia, mas sem perder sua autenticidade. Para chegar nesse resultado, comparamos a atitude desses outros artistas e também de grupos artísticos com a de Lady Gaga, analisando as características e técnicas em comum

Abstract : The figure of the singer in pop music receives a position of evidence, in which there must also be other factors to keep it that way. Within this industry, we find Lady Gaga, an artist who has an image that stands out in relation to music, using several of these factors, such as: emergence in the media challenging the moral values of the time, character creation with characteristic visuals for each album, among others. In this study, we found that Gaga built her image and artistic performance based on formulas already used by other artists, which were responsible for taking them to success and rise in the media, but without losing her authenticity. To reach this result, we compared the attitude of these other artists and artistic groups with Lady Gaga‘s, analyzing the characteristics and techniques in common
