Abstract: This work makes articulations between Literature and Geography, having as one of its essential elements the investigation of the landscape-text created by the Minas Gerais author João Guimarães Rosa (1908-1967). To reflect on the landscape is also to reflect on the occult that gives shape to what is visible on the earth's surface, but which only exists in this way because it is fed and sustained by underground layers of soil. In this sense, the term biolandscape refers to a concept that allows interpreting not only the intercorporality of the being with the world, its landscape experiences, but also the expression of these experiences via the phenomenon of language. Landscapes play a central role in Rosa's artistic expression, in which they are both referent and transcendent, both the medium of existence and the expression of being. Starting from this experience of the world, I investigate the phenomenon of expression of hidden and invisible meanings of words, so as to understand the procedures employed by the author to materialize these landscapes in the text, in order to create a poetics that is also experiential, therefore a poetics of the phenomenon. It is an aesthetic project built through formal experiments that result in a landscape-text, where sounds, colors and atmospheres transform the reading experience into a phenomenon. In this investigation, I focused especially on the works of Corpo de baile (1957). I discuss this expressive process from the perspectives of the humanist geographer Eric Dardel and the philosopher Jean-Marc Besse, and especially from the point of view of Merleau-Ponty's Phenomenology.
