As aulas de educação física escolar na pandemia de Covid-19 : possibilidades e desafios para a utilização das tecnologias digitais de informação e comunicação

Abstract

Resumo: A pesquisa desenvolvida nesta dissertação investiga as aulas de Educação Física escolar na pandemia de COVID-19, considerando as possibilidades e desafios para a utilização das Tecnologias Digitais de Informação e Comunicação. Enquanto problema de pesquisa apresenta a seguinte indagação: Como aconteceram as aulas de Educação Física Escolar na Educação Básica em relação ao uso das Tecnologias Digitais de Informação e Comunicação na pandemia de COVID-19 de acordo com a percepção dos docentes? Para responder esse problema de pesquisa instituiu-se como objetivo geral: Analisar as aulas de Educação Física Escolar na Educação Básica em relação ao uso das Tecnologias Digitais de Informação e Comunicação na pandemia de COVID-19 a partir da percepção dos docentes. E como objetivos específicos: Caracterizar o processo de profissionalização e o conhecimento dos professores em relação ao uso das Tecnologias Digitais de Informação e Comunicação nas aulas de Educação Física; verificar a forma e as condições que os professores de Educação Física realizaram as suas aulas no período de pandemia; investigar o processo de ensino das aulas teóricas e práticas que os docentes lecionaram na pandemia; Identificar o efeito do uso de Tecnologias Digitais de Informação e Comunicação nas aulas de Educação Física. A pesquisa obteve a participação de 32 professores de Educação Física que atuam na Educação Básica. A investigação se configura como pesquisa de abordagem qualitativa do tipo exploratória de natureza interpretativa. Como instrumento de coleta de dados, utilizou um questionário On-line, com perguntas abertas e fechadas. Para a análise dos dados coletados, pautou-se na técnica de Análise de Conteúdo (AC), na perspectiva de Bardin (2016). A base da fundamentação teórica da presente investigação constituiu-se a partir das contribuições de autores como: Kenski (2007), Castells (1999), Bertoldo, Salto e Mill (2018), Ferreira (2020), Dias (2018), Camilo e Betti (2010), Silva e Pires (2010), Neira (2015) e Costa e Zoltowski (2014) em relação as Tecnologias Digitais de Informação e comunicação. Já no tocante aos desdobramentos da Pandemia da COVID-19 referentes a Educação Física Escolar, destacam-se: Prensky (2001), Behar (2020), Reis (2021), Costa e Nascimento (2020), Betti e Zuliane (2002), Moura et al. (2021), entre outros. A partir da análise dos resultados identificou-se que todos os professores participantes possuem graduação em Educação Física. Identificou-se ainda a ausência de formação continuada relacionada ao uso das TDICs nas aulas. Os resultados indicaram que os professores possuem um certo nível de conhecimento em relação as TDICS, mas não o suficiente para a utilização nas aulas em sua plenitude. As plataformas digitais e WhatsApp dentre outras, destacaram-se enquanto TDICs utilizadas na realização das aulas. Contudo, os resultados tornaram evidentes as dificuldades relacionadas a falta de estrutura para a realização das aulas durante esse período em que o ensino foi remoto. Dessa forma, diversas possibilidades em relação ao uso das TDICs nas aulas de EF emergiram durante a análise. No entanto, constatou-se também a necessidade de considerar as implicações que envolveram esse processo.

Abstract: The research developed in this dissertation investigates school Physical Education classes in the COVID-19 pandemic, considering the possibilities and challenges for the use of Digital Information and Communication Technologies. As a research problem, it presents the following question: How did School Physical Education classes happen in Basic Education in relation to the use of Digital Information and Communication Technologies in the COVID-19 pandemic according to the perception of teachers? To answer this research problem, the general objective was established: To analyze School Physical Education classes in Basic Education in relation to the use of Digital Information and Communication Technologies in the COVID-19 pandemic from the perception of teachers. And as specific objectives: To characterize the process of professionalization and the knowledge of teachers in relation to the use of Digital Technologies of Information and Communication in Physical Education classes; verify the form and conditions that Physical Education teachers held their classes during the pandemic period; investigate the teaching process of theoretical and practical classes that teachers taught during the pandemic; Identify the effect of the use of Digital Information and Communication Technologies in Physical Education classes. The research had the participation of 32 Physical Education teachers who work in Basic Education. The investigation is configured as a qualitative approach research of the exploratory type of interpretative nature. As a data collection instrument, an online questionnaire was used, with open and closed questions. For the analysis of the collected data, it was based on the technique of Content Analysis (CA), in the perspective of Bardin (2016). The theoretical basis of the present investigation was based on the contributions of authors such as: Kenski (2007), Castells (1999), Bertoldo, Salto and Mill (2018), Ferreira (2020), Dias (2018), Camilo and Betti (2010), Silva and Pires (2010), Neira (2015) and Costa and Zoltowski (2014) in relation to Digital Information and Communication Technologies. With regard to the unfolding of the COVID-19 Pandemic regarding School Physical Education, the following stand out: Prensky (2001), Behar (2020), Reis (2021), Costa and Nascimento (2020), Betti and Zuliane (2002), Moura et al. (2021), among others. From the analysis of the results, it was identified that all the participating teachers have a degree in Physical Education. It was also identified the absence of continuing education related to the use of TDICs in classes. The results indicated that teachers have a certain level of knowledge in relation to TDICS, but not enough to fully use them in class. Digital platforms and WhatsApp, among others, stood out as TDICs used in classes. However, the results made evident the difficulties related to the lack of structure to carry out classes during this period when teaching was remote. Thus, several possibilities regarding the use of TDICs in PE classes emerged during the analysis. However, there was also a need to consider the implications that involved this process.
