Estudo sobre os sistemas de comunicação por satélites geoestacionários

Abstract

Resumo: Este trabalho compreende um estudo sistêmico sobre a tecnologia da comunicação por satélites geoestacionários. Um extenso e exaustivo trabalho de levantamento bibliográfico foi inicialmente desenvolvido, para a coleta do material relacionado ao tema de pesquisa. Posteriormente, este material foi trabalhado, gerando como produção de conhecimento uma nova abordagem sobre a tecnologia envolvendo o sistema de comunicação por satélites (em particular, satélites geoestacionários). O trabalho aborda as principais características da órbita geoestacionária e do subsistema de comunicação dos satélites. São estudadas as principais técnicas de transmissão, multiplexação e acesso, sendo feita, inclusive, uma análise básica do enlace de radiocomunicação satélite/estação terrena. O estudo engloba, em adição, a estrutura das estações terrenas e são tomados vários exemplos que ilustram o emprego das diversas características do sistema de satélite, constituindo redes e fornecendo serviços. Por fim, são apresentadas discussões sobre o tema, análises conclusivas e perspectivas futuras do estudo em questão.

Abstract: This thesis comprises a systemic study of satellite communication systems in geostacionary orbit. A comprehensive bibliographic research was initially performed to collect all relevant matherial. This matherial was compiled and studied in order to produce a broad overview of satellite communication systems (mainly for geostacionary satellites). This thesis verify the major features of geostacionary orbit and the communication subystem of the satellites. It shows the most important transmission, multiplexation and access techniques. The basic link between the satellite and the ground station is also analysed. In adition, the structure of ground stations were also considered together with several examples of services and networks of geostacionary satellite communication systems. Finally, are done discussions about the subject and a conclusive analisys is performed with suggestions for future work.
