Resumo: O presente trabalho trata da intervenção em uma comunidade da área de abrangência de uma Unidade Básica de Saúde (UBS) do município de Piraquara (PR). O objetivo consiste em promover o esclarecimento da população sobre métodos contraceptivos e sua utilização de forma a prevenir gravidezes não planejadas a partir de ações que visam estimular o comparecimento da população em reuniões informativas sobre o uso de métodos contraceptivos e planejamento familiar, bem como estabelecer uma agenda permanente para a colocação de Dispositivo Intrauterino (DIU) na UBS. A metodologia empregada é o convite da população em idade sexual ativa por meio de material impresso e divulgação por meio de Agentes Comunitárias de Saúde. Os recursos educacionais empregados serão as reuniões em roda de conversa e resolução de dúvidas. Contudo prejudicada pelo agravamento da pandemia de COVID-19, a pesquisa obteve êxito, uma vez que foram distribuídos os panfletos informativos, foi realizado encontro informativo e implementada agenda de inserção de DIU. Abstract: The present work is about an intervention in a community within the coverage of a Primary Healthcare Unit in the city of Piraquara (PR). The objective is to promote information to the population about contraceptive methods and their use in order to prevent unplanned pregnancies through actions that aim to stimulate the population's attendance at informative meetings on the use of contraceptive methods and family planning, as well as establishing a permanent schedule for the placement of the Intrauterine Device (IUD) at the Healthcare Unit. The methodology used is the invitation of the population of active sexual age through printed material and dissemination through Community Health Agents. The educational resources employed will be meetings in conversation and resolution of doubts. However hampered by the worsening of the pandemic of COVID-19, the research was successful since the informative material was distributed, an informative meeting was held and an IUD insertion agenda was implemented.
