Análise da atenção materno-infantil em uma unidade de saúde de município da Região Metropolitana de Curitiba

Abstract

Resumo: A atenção materno-infantil, voltada para as gestantes e os recém-nascidos, possui objetivos semelhantes em todo território, embora exista uma diversidade de protocolos nos estados e municípios. O SUS como sistema de saúde universal, integral, igualitário e sob controle social, garante a atenção a esta parcela da população. A realidade geográfica, econômica, cultural, política e social da periferia das grandes cidades, determinada, em última instância, pela maneira como está organizada a sociedade, seus valores e princípios, expressão das relações de produção atinentes ao modo de produção dominante, delimita as possibilidades e os entraves para o desenvolvimento e implementação destas das ações de atenção materno-infantil. No Brasil, existe uma imensa desigualdade socioeconômica que impulsiona uma grande parcela da população a ficar alijada do acesso aos bens e serviços necessários para a realização da vida, nesta realidade se insere a constituição do SUS como política compensatória. Porém, o SUS, oferece um sistema de saúde com uma estrutura suficiente para a atenção materno-infantil adequada, permitindo o alcance de resultados que se expressam em índices de saúde favoráveis que estão limitados por questões técnicas e por questões estruturais da sociedade. Diante disso, propôs-se o presente estudo visando analisar o cuidado materno infantil em uma unidade básica de saúde região metropolitana de Curitiba, no município de Almirante Tamandaré. Realizou-se, inicialmente, um estudo descritivo e observacional, com base em pesquisa documental em bancos de dados oficiais do Brasil, do estado do Paraná e do município de Almirante Tamandaré, além de pesquisa de campo orientada por um roteiro observacional elaborado pelo autor. Os dados foram sistematizados de modo a permitir a descrição da estrutura, processo e resultados de unidade de saúde e possibilitaram definir as condições do atendimento materno-infantil. Conclui-se que a estrutura da UBS era insuficiente em relação ao espaço físico e a composição da equipe pela ausência de agente comunitário, em relação ao processo dentro das limitações apresentadas na estrutura, ocorria de forma insatisfatória, pela ausência das atividades de enfermagem e adesão incompleta por parte das gestantes a todo o processo de cuidado, quanto aos resultados o tamanho da amostra apresentada da população adscrita não permitiu uma análise adequada. Os resultados da pesquisa mostraram que a cobertura da assistência materno infantil na unidade de saúde analisada ainda é inconsistente.

Abstract: Maternal and childcare, aimed at pregnant women and newborns, has similar objectives throughout the territory, although there are a diversity of protocols in the states and municipalities. The SUS as a universal health system, integral, egalitarian and under social control, guarantees care to this portion of the population. the geographical, economic, cultural, political and social reality of the periphery of the big cities, determined, in the last instance, by the way society is organized, its values and principles, expression of the relations of production relative to the dominant mode of production, limits the possibilities and barriers for the development and implementation of these actions of maternal and childcare. In Brazil, there is an immense socioeconomic inequality that drives a large portion of the population to be deprived of access to the goods and services necessary for the realization of life, in this reality is inserted the constitution of the SUS as a compensatory policy. However, SUS offers a health system with a sufficient structure for adequate maternal and childcare, allowing the achievement of results that are expressed in favorable health indexes that are limited by technical issues and by structural issues of society. Therefore, this study aimed to analyze maternal care in a primary health unit in the metropolitan region of Curitiba, in the municipality of Almirante Tamandaré. Initially, a descriptive and observational study was conducted, based on documentary research in official databases of Brazil, the state of Paraná and the municipality of Almirante Tamandaré, as well as field research guided by an observational script prepared by the author. The data were systematized to allow the description of the structure, process and results of the health unit and to define the conditions of maternal and childcare. It is concluded that the structure of the UBS was insufficient in relation to the physical space and the composition of the team by the absence of community agent, in relation to the process within the limitations presented in the structure, occurred in an unsatisfactory way, Due to the absence of nursing activities and incomplete adherence by pregnant women to the entire care process, the results of the sample size presented by the descript population did not allow an adequate analysis. The results of the research showed that the coverage of maternal childcare in the analyzed health unit is still inconsistent. Keywords: Primary Health Care, Maternal and
