Diálogo intercultural e sustentabilidade : as experiências dos Ashaninka da Floresta Amazônica e dos Mapuche da Selva Valdiviana

Abstract

Resumo: Diálogo intercultural e sustentabilidade são os temas norteadores desta Tese que, a partir da reflexão crítica sobre os fatores centrais da crise socioambiental, se propõe a pensar alternativas sustentáveis ao desenvolvimento hegemônico que valorizem o bem viver ameríndio. Utiliza-se de pesquisa exploratória e etnográfica para analisar as experiências de dois povos originários, cujas comunidades vivenciam um certo tipo de sustentabilidade intercultural. Sustentabilidade essa baseada em um sistema híbrido situado entre o tradicional e o moderno, e com o enfoque na Conservação da Natureza, no Uso Sustentável do Território, na valorização da Cosmovisão e do Diálogo de Saberes, porém sem deixar de considerar os Conflitos Socioambientais inerentes ao processo. São as experiências: Apiwtxa dos Ashaninka da Floresta Amazônica e Mapu Lahual dos Mapuche da Selva Valdiviana. Mesmo que em contextos diferentes, a análise comparativa dessas experiências colabora com a reflexão sobre quais os caminhos devem ser trilhados para se pensar outras sustentabilidades possíveis para a América Latina que respondam aos desafios sócio ecológicos presentes e futuros da humanidade em tempos de Mudanças Climáticas e Antropoceno. Abstract: Intercultural dialogue and sustainability are the guiding themes of this Thesis which, based on critical reflection on the central factors of the socio-environmental crisis, proposes to think of sustainable alternatives to hegemonic development that value Amerindian good living. Exploratory and ethnographic research is used to analyze the experiences of two native peoples, whose communities experience a certain type of intercultural sustainability. Sustainability based on a hybrid system located between the traditional and the modern, and with a focus on Nature Conservation, the Sustainable Use of the Territory, the appreciation of the Cosmovision and the Dialogue of Knowledge, but without neglecting the socio-environmental conflicts inherent to the process. These are the experiences: Apiwtxa of the Ashaninka of the Amazon Forest and Mapu Lahual of the Mapuche of the Valdivian Jungle. Although in different contexts the comparative analysis of these experiences collaborates with the reflection on which paths should be followed to think about other possible sustainabilities for Latin America that respond to the present and future socio-ecological challenges of humanity in times of Climate Change and Anthropocene .
