A Tradução do que se cala : Paul Celan entre genocídios

Abstract

Resumo: Através de um projeto de tradução que perpassa estudos de diversas áreas das Humanidades, procura-se criar uma pequena antologia de poemas de Paul Celan traduzidos. As traduções são desenvolvidas a partir da ideia de que Celan escreve em uma "língua de testemunho" da Shoah, a qual tem procedimentos que poderiam ser replicados no português brasileiro para rememorar o genocídio ameríndio fundador da nação brasileira. O estudo que precede as traduções se insere nas áreas de Literatura de Testemunho, Estudos da Tradução e no que é aqui nomeado como Arqueologia Especulativa, tendo incursões diversas nas áreas de Antropologia, Filosofia, História, Psicologia etc. Com a ideia de que é possível traduzir algo como uma "língua de testemunho" em um contexto outro sem apagar o outro da tradução, confecciona-se a "tradução do que se cala", em que a escuta atenta de não-ditos tem papel central. A contribuição de ciências ameríndias e de decorrências da influência ameríndia na literatura brasileira (como a Antropofagia) permeia o trabalho e se funde ao procedimento tradutório. A experimentação intentada neste trabalho tem base em uma proposta ética de rememoração, de escuta e de atenção ao que Didi-Huberman chama de "cascas". Abstract: Through a Translation Project which permeates various scientific studies in several areas of the Humanities, we intend to create a small anthology of poems by Paul Celan translated into "Portuguese". These translations are developed from the idea that Celan writes in a Shoah "language of witness", which works according to some procedures that could be replicated on Brazilian Portuguese to rememorate the Amerindian Genocide founder of the Brazilian Nation. The research that precedes the translations goes through the following areas: Literature of Testimony, Translation Studies, and what is named here as Speculative Arqueology; also passing by Antropology, Philosophy, History, Psycology etc. Believing that it is possible to translate something as a "language of witness" to another context without erasing th other of translation, we build the "translation of what remains silent", in which the attentive listening of non-sayings has a fulcral function. The contribution of Amerindian sciences and the consequences of Amenrindian influence in Brazilian literature (such as the Anthropofagia) permeates the work and merges with the translation procedure. The experimentation attempted in this work is based on an ethical proposal of rememoration, remembrance, listening and attention to what Didi-Huberman calls "shells".
