De forma geral, a validade do desvio-padrão adimensional em ângulos zenitais pequenos foi o resultado mais proeminente desta análise, pois indica a possibilidade de calcular fluxos turbulentos via funções de Monin-Obukhov sobre florestas pelo menos nestes momentos do dia. dc.description.abstractAbstract: One of the most important tools in micrometeorology is the Monin-Obukhov Similarity Theory (MOST), whose dimensionless functions describe the relationship between scalars' mean concentration and flux in the atmospheric surface layer. However, these functions are not valid in the canopy roughness sublayer region, making it difficult to estimate scalar fluxes above forests from concentration measurements. In this regard, the main goal of this study is to perform a similarity analysis of scalars (temperature, carbon dioxide and water vapor) measured at 39.4 and 81.6 m above the Amazon forest, in a region with mean canopy height of 40 m. The results of the vertical velocity skewness suggested that both heights are within the roughness sublayer. The nondimensional standard deviation showed more scattering for scalars than for vertical velocity, which follows the theory. Less scatter was found for the Monin-Obukhov functions classified by solar zenith angle (Z), where good accordance between MOST and Z was verified for angles between 0 and 20°. We conjecture that this is related to the low solar incidence and the combined "activation/deactivation" of sources and sinks . Finally, for the Relaxed Eddy Accumulation, the relaxation coefficients were found to be within the range indicated in the literature (0.51 - 0.62), and to be larger for 81.6 m than for 39.4 m. When classified by zenith angle, better results were found in the range 0_ < |Z| < 20_. In general, the nondimensional standard deviation validity for low zenith angles was the most prominent result in this research, because it allows us to calculate turbulent fluxes above forests using the universal functions at least in these moments of the day.
