A essência da espécie : Ludwig Feuerbach e a filosofia da encarnação de Deus em Hegel

Abstract

Resumo: A principal obra de Ludwig Feuerbach, A Essência do Cristianismo, apresenta uma filosofia radical e humanista que pretende interpretar criticamente a religião e a consciência cristãs. Entretanto, na base de sua formulação está também uma crítica implícita a Hegel e sua Filosofia da Religião, que confere lugar de destaque ao cristianismo e ao conceito de encarnação de Deus. Assim, este trabalho busca investigar de que modo os principais conceitos de A Essência do Cristianismo, nomeadamente os conceitos de espécie (Gattung) e principalmente essência da espécie (Gattungswesen), são as principais armas de Feuerbach não apenas na crítica aberta à religião, mas também na crítica implícita à interpretação hegeliana da encarnação de Deus nas Lições sobre a Filosofia da Religião. Abstract: Ludwig Feuerbach's main work, The Essence of Christianity, presents a radical and humanist philosophy which intends to interpret in a critical way the Christian religion and consciousness. However, on the basis of his formulation there lies an implicit critique to Hegel and his Philosophy of Religion, which confers a central place to Christianity and its concept of the Incarnate God. Therefore, this work aims at investigating how it is that the main concepts in The Essence of Christianity, namely the concepts of species (Gattung) and of essence of species (Gattungswesen), are the main tools of Feuerbach not only in his open critique to religion, but also in his implicit critique to the Hegelian interpretation of the incarnation of God in his Lectures on the Philosophy of Religion.
