Edival Perrini, poeta curitibano : um estudo

Abstract

Resumo: Esse estudo tem como objeto a obra poética do escritor curitibano Edival Perrini, integrante do Grupo Encontrovérsia, fundado em 1980 e atuante nas décadas finais do século XX. Procura-se analisar seu trabalho com a imagem poética a partir da proposição, apresentada meta-ingüisticamente no poema Norte, de conciliação entre rigor e delirio, o primeiro concretizado no plano da linguagem e o segundo alcançado no plano dos elementos temáticos. Discute-se, assim, o quanto o poeta pode ter concretizado em sua obra as considerações a respeito do devaneio poético teoricamente apresentadas por Gaston Bachelard em seus livros de filosofia. Percorrendo as nuanças mitológicas e arquetípicas associadas aos quatro elementos naturais: - água, fogo, terra e ar -, o pensador francês conclui que, na imagem poética, a imaginação criativa dá vazão ao sonho, ao devaneio. Discute-se, mais, a inserção da poesia de Edival Perrini no quadro geral da Poesia Brasileira da segunda metade do século XX, de modo mais específico, enquanto representante de tendência que procura conciliar o rigor apolíneo da linguagem e a libertação temáticamente configurada através do devaneio dionisíaco.

Abstract: The present study focuses on the poetic works of Edival Perrini, a writer from Curitiba who belongs to the group Encontrovérsia. This group, founded in 1980, was active in the final decades of the 20th century. The performance of Edival Perrini with the poetic image is discussed based on a metalinguistical concept presented in his poem Norte, in which the poet proposes to conciliate rigour and delirium: the first one would be achieved on the level of the language; the second one, on the level of the thematic elements. We therefore investigate the extension to which the poet worked out, in his writings, the implications of the poetic reverie pointed out by Gaston Bachelard in his philosophical books. Focusing specially on the. mythological and archetypical nuances associated with the four natural elements - water, fire, earth and air - the French thinker concludes that, in the poetic image, the creative imagination leads to dreams and reverie. The insertion of Edival Perrini's poetry in the general scene of Brazilian Poetry of the second half of the 20th century is investigated. In a more specific way, he is considered as a representative poet of the tendency which tries to conciliate the apollonian severity of the language and the freedom thematically configured by the dionysiac reverie.
